Պաշտոնական այցով Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունում գտնվող ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը փետրվարի 1-ին այցելել է «Ալիք» թերթի խմբագրատուն: Թերթի խմբագրակազմի հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում Վիգեն Սարգսյանը խոսել է հայ-իրանական հարաբերությունների, ՀՀ զինված ուժերում իրականացվող աշխատանքների ու առաջիկա անելիքների վերաբերյալ, ներկայացրել է զինված ուժերի ձեռքբերումները, պատասխանել է հանդիպմ ան մասնակիցների հարցերին: ՀՀ պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը մանրամասնել է նաև «Ազգ-բանակ» գաղափարի դրույթները:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Վիգեն Սարգսյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը փետրվարի 1-ին եղել է նաև Թեհրանի Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդարանում, հանդիպել թեմի առաջնորդ, աքրեպիսկոպոս Տեր Սեպուհ Սարգսյանի, հոգևոր դասի և իրանահայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ:

ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարն արժևորել և բարձր է գնահատել Հայոց եկեղեցու և սփյուռքի կառույցների դերակատարությունը հայապահպանության, ինչպես նաև հայ-իրանական բարեկամական հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման ու հետագա զարգացման գործում:

Պաշտոնական այցի ընթացքում փետրվարի 1-ին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը հանդիպումներ է ունեցել նաև ԻԻՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մոհամադ Ջավադ Զարիֆի և ԻԻՀ Ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ալի Շամխանիի հետ:

Մոհամադ Ջավադ Զարիֆի հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում կարևորվել է անվտանգության ոլորտում երկու պետությունների համագործակցության ընդլայնումը: Քննարկվել են հայ-իրանական փոխգործակցության ամրապնդման, երկու ժողովուրդների բարեկամական կապերի խորացման, ինչպես նաև տարածաշրջանային զարգացումների հետ կապված հարցեր:

Բարձր գնահատելով երկու պետությունների համագործակցությունը տարբեր բնագավառներում և ընդգծելով հարաբերությունների զարգացման անհրաժեշտությունը, կողմերը շեշտել են նաև տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության և անվտանգության ապահովման կարևորությունը՝ որպես տարածաշրջանի պետությունների կայուն զարգացման անհրաժեշտ նախապայման

Վիգեն Սարգսյանը ներկայացրել է Արցախի և Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերի շփման գծում տիրող իրավիճակը և հակամարտության կարգավորման ուղղությամբ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների կողմից գործադրվող ջանքերը: Ընդգծելով խաղաղ, բանակցային ճանապարհով խնդրի կարգավորման անհրաժեշտությունը, կողմերը վերահաստատել են տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության և կայունության հաստատմանը նպաստելու պատրաստակամությունը:

ԻԻՀ Ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ալի Շամխանիի հետ հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են հայ-իրանական բարեկամական հարաբերությունների զարգացման, տարբեր ոլորտներում համագործակցության զարգացման, տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության և կայունության ապահովման խնդիրների հետ կապված հարցեր:

Կողմերն անդրադարձել են հայ-իրանական համագործակցության առաջնահերթություններին, ընդգծվել է երկկողմ համագործակցության խորացման անհրաժեշտությունը:
