Այսօր մենք այցելեցինք Արմավիրի մարզի Արեւիկ գյուղ: Ապրիլյան պատերազմի հերոս, բազմաթիվ շքանշանների եւ մեդալների արժանացած Սեւակ Խաչատրյանի 20-ամյակն էր: Մի քանի ամիս էր մնացել, որ զորամասի հպարտություն, զորամասի պարծանք դարձած Սեւակը զորացրվեր, եթե չլիներ հակառակորդի ոտնձգությունն ու գաղտնի արձակած գնդակը: Այսօր Արեւիկ գյուղի դպրոցում նշում էին հերոսի տարեդարձը: Ու ողջ միջոցառման ժամանակ դահլիճում իր արցունքներն էր սրբում մի տղամարդ:
 
 Ինչպես հետո պարզեցինք՝ Սեւակի հրամանատարն էր՝ փոխգնդապետ Զավեն Հունանյանը: Նա դժվարանում էր շնորհավորել սիրելի զինվորին. «Չգիտեմ այսպիսի դեպքերում ինչ են ասում: Սեւակը մարդ էր, ով իր ապրելով բոլորին ցույց տվեց, թե ինչպիսին է լինում հայը ու ոնց է պետք ապրել: Ես այսօր չեմ խոսի ձեր հետ, թե Սեւակը ոնց ընկավ: Ես կպատմեմ, թե Սեւակը ոնց է ապրել: Նա այն հազվադեպ երիտասարդներից է, որ ծնվելով իսկական հայկական ընտանիքում, իսկական հայրենասերի դաստիարակությամբ է եղել: Ինքը ուներ հնարավորություն, որ սովորելուց հետո գնար բանակ, բայց իր անձնական խնդրանքով, հստակ գիտենալով ու հասկանալով երկրում բարդ իրավիճակը՝ շուտ գնաց: Սեւակը բոլորին ցույց տվեց, թե ինքը ոնց է ապրել: Ես հիշում եմ իր հետ ունեցած մեր առանձնազրույցները»: 

Զավեն Հունանյանն ասաց, թե ինչպես է Սեւակը ամեն վայրկյան պատրաստ եղել հայրենիքի համար զոհել իր ունեցած ամենաթանկը՝ կյանքը. «Սեւակը եկավ բանակ՝ արդեն կրթված, կայացած որպես երիտասարդ լրացրեց մեր շարքերը, իր ով լինելով՝ բոլորին ցույց տվեց, թե ոնց է պետք պահել ու պաշտպանել հայրենիքի պետական սահմանը, որտեղ թշնամին մի խրամատ անցնելուն պես՝ հասնելու է այստեղ»:
