«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է.

«ՀՀ Զինված ուժերի Գլխավոր շտաբի պետի տեղակալ, գեներալ Հայկազ Բաղմանյանը չի կարծում, որ պաշտպանության նախկին նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանը կարող է ընդդիմադիր լինել: Այն, որ Օհանյանը պատրաստվում է մասնակցել ապրիլյան խորհրդարանական ընտրություններին, չի նշանակում, որ ընդդիմադիր քաղաքականություն է վարում: «Ենթադրություններով չխոսենք, համենայնդեպս, ես հետևում եմ նրա հայտարարություններին, կարդում եմ: Նա որևէ ընդդիմադիր բան չի ասել»,- մեզ հետ զրույցում հայտարարեց Բաղմանյանը:

ԶՈՒ գլխավոր շտաբի պետի տեղակալին հիշեցրինք, որ պաշտպանության նախկին նախարարը, որն ընդամենը չորս ամիս առաջ է թողել իր բարձր պաշտոնը, հայտարարում է, որ Հայաստանի տնտեսությունը թուլացած է, արտագաղթն ահագնանում է, ժողովուրդը հուսալքության մեջ է, իշխանությունների հանդեպ հասարակական անվստահությունը գնալով ուժեղանում է, և որ նման վիճակը չի կարող բանակին թիկունք ապահովել։ «Հերի՛ք է միայն խոսել համակարգային փոփոխությունների մասին, բայց կոնկրետ ոչինչ չառաջարկել։ Պետք է մարդկանց ցույց տալ, թե ինչն ինչով է փոխարինվելու և ինչպես է կյանքը փոխվելու»,- հայտարարել էր Սեյրան Օհանյանը։

Իր նախկին հրամանատարի և զինակցի այս քննադատություններն ընդդիմադիր չեն թվում Հայկազ Բաղմանյանին:  «Համենայնդեպս, չեմ կարծում, որ նա ընդդիմություն է»,- պնդեց ԶՈՒ շտաբի պետի տեղակալը:

Այսինքն՝ նրա քաղաքականություն մտնելը, ընտրություններին մասնակցելն իշխանությունների պրոյե՞կտ է:

Ես չգիտեմ, թե դուք ինչ նկատի ունեք իշխանական պրոյեկտ ասելով, բայց նա զինվորական մարդ է եղել, և չեմ կարծում, որ կարող է ընդդիմադիր լինի: Հետո դա իր անձնական գործն է: Եթե որոշել է գնալ ու ԱԺ պատգամավոր դառնալ, թող դառնա, ինչ է եղել:

Կարծիք կար, որ Սեյրան Օհանյանն ուզում էր վերանշանակվել պաշտպանության նախարար, այդ պատճառով էլ նեղացել է իշխանություններից:

Պաշտպանության նախարարը պապենական պաշտո՞ն է, ի՞նչ է»:
