 Հայաստանում ռադիոիզոտոպների արտադրության կենտրոնը կգործարկվի մարտ-ապրիլ ամիսներին: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն ասաց ՀՀ ԱՆ աշխատակազմի բժշկական օգնության քաղաքականության վարչության պետ Ծաղիկ Վարդանյանը: Նա նշեց, որ կենտրոնն արդեն իսկ անհրաժեշտ սարքավորումներով է հագեցվել: «Այն կարտադրի ուռուցքային նորագոյացությունների ախտորոշման և քաղցկեղի բուժման համար անհրաժեշտ ռադիոակտիվ իզոտոպներ` ստեղծելով ռադիոդեղագործական և ախտորոշման համալիր բժշկական ծառայությունների մատուցման կարողություններ»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ, ասաց նա:

Ծաղիկ Վարդանյանը նշեց, որ այն կլինի Հայաստանում ուռուցքային հիվանդությունների բուժման և կանխարգելման ժամանակակից տեխնոլոգիաներով հագեցած կենտրոն, որը կմատուցի միջուկային ախտորոշման, ճառագայթային բժշկության, քիմիաթերապիայի և վիրաբուժության ներհիվանդանոցային և արտահիվանդանոցային ծառայություններ:

Ռադիոիզոտոպների արտադրության կենտրոնի շենքի շինարարական աշխատանքները մեկնարկել են 2012թ. սեպտեմբերին: Այդ աշխատանքների ավարտից հետո կենտրոնում կտեղադրվի բելգիական «ԱյԲի Էյ Մոլեկուլյար» ընկերությունից ձեռք բերված ռադիոիզոտոպների արտադրության համալիրը` բաղկացած «Ցիկլոն-18» 18 ՄԷՎ հզորությամբ ցիկլոտրոնից և ինտեգրված բարձր տեխնոլոգիական սարքավորումներից: ՀՀ կառավարության 2010 թվականի որոշմամբ հիմնադրվել է «Ռադիոիզոտոպների արտադրության կենտրոն» 100 տոկոu պետական մասնակցությամբ փակ բաժնետիրական ընկերությունը, որի պետական uեփականություն հանդիuացող բաժնետոմuերի կառավարման լիազորությունները վերապահվել են ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարությանը: Հավատարմագրային կառավարչի ներգրավման նպատակն է վերջինիս սեփական միջոցների հաշվին ռադիոիզոտոպների արտադրության կենտրոնի կառավարման ապահովումը, գործարկման, շահագործման, սպասարկման և համապատասխան ծառայությունների մատուցման գործընթացների շարունակական կազմակերպումը և կենտրոնի զարգացումը:
