ԱԺ-ում հայտարարությունների ժամի հայտարարությանս տեքստը:

Հարգելի գործընկերներ,

Ազգային ժողովի հայտարարությունների ժամի թերևս վերջին հայտարարությունս կնվիրեմ թեմայի, ինչի համար ըստ էության հենց հայտնվել էի այստեղ։ Խոսելու եմ Հայաստանի և ժողովրդավարության մասին։

Սիրելի բարեկամներ,

ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի ամբիոնից այս պահին ես Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հանրությանը և ողջ քաղաքական դաշտին վտանգի զանգ եմ հնչեցնում այն մասին, որ մենք արագ հետքայլեր ենք անում ժողովրդավարությունից։

Սա SOS ազդանշան է, տիկնայք և պարոնայք, առ այն, որ մեր հավաքական ընկալումը կարծես չի էլ ֆիքսում ամենօրյա նահանջը, ու լրջորեն չի էլ կենտրոնանում, թե ինչ մահացու վտանգ ենք կախում մեր զարգացման ճանապարհին։

SOS՝ մենք չտեսնելու ենք տալիս բոլոր միջազգային ժողովրդավարական ռեյտինգներում մեր հետընթացը։

SOS՝ մեր երկրի քաղաքական լիդերները այլևս շատ զուսպ են ժողովրդավարություն բառն անգամ օգտագործելուց։

SOS՝ «քաղաքական տղայությունը» նորից տիրապետող է դառնում։

SOS՝ մենք մոռացել ենք, թե մեր ինչին է պետք ժողովրդավարությունը, մենք մոռացել ենք, թե ինչ վտանգ ենք հասունացնում անգամ ազգային անվտանգության հարթությունում։

Ես շատ լավ հասկանում եմ, որ այսօրվա իրողությունները, հացի ու ապրելու այսօրվա խնդիրները բավականին լավ թմրեցուցիչներ են այս հարցում։ Ես հասկանում եմ, որ մեզ հասնող ռուսական քաղաքական ուղերձներում այս բառը տեղ չունի պարզապես, իսկ ԱՄՆ նախագահն իր ինագուրացիոն ելույթում ուղղակի ոչ մի անգամ կարող է չհիշատակել այն։ Նրանք կարող են, մենք՝ ոչ։ Մի՞թե դժվար է սա պատկերացնել։ Նրանք իրավունք ունեն, մեզ չի ներվի։

Հասարակության բոլոր շերտերը պարտավոր չեն քաջատեղյակ լինել մեր կյանքն առաջ տանող հիմնարար, բայց անտեսանելի արժեքային շերտերից։ Էլիտան՝ պարտավոր է։ Սիրելի քաղաքական գործիչներ, իմ այս հայտարարությունը մի բանի մասին է միայն. ժողովրդավարությունը սոսկ հավատամք ու արժեհամակարգ չէ մեզ համար, ժողովրդավարությունը նաև անվտանգության կարևոր բաղադրիչ է Հայաստանի համար։ Տարբեր հոսանքների ազդեցության տակ սա մոռանալը նշանակում է վտանգել մեր ու մեր երեխաների ապագան։ Սա հորդոր չէ, սա հիշելը իմ խնդրանքն է բոլորին։
