Հնարավո՞ր է արդյոք փրկվել, եթե ողջ-ողջ այրվում ես։ Հնարավո՞ր է արդյոք չկորցնել ինքդ քո հանդեպ ունեցած հավատը, երբ երբեմնի սքանչելի դեմքդ ու մարմինդ այլանդակված են այրվածքներով։ Դանա Վուլինը կարողացավ հաղթահարել այն փորձությունները, որոնք ճակատագիրը պատրաստել էր իր համար, ու այդ ամենից հետո դուրս գալ պոդիում։ Дана Вулин 2012 թ.ի երեկույթը ողբերգական ավարտ ունեցավ Դանա Վուլինի համար։ Այդ երեկույթից հետո Նատալի Դիմիտրովսիկին՝ երեկույթի հյուրերից մեկի խանդոտ կինը, Դանայի տուն եկավ։ Աղջիկն առանց որևէ բան կասկածելու բացեց դուռը, իսկ խանդոտ կինը էթիլային սպիրտ ցրեց նրա վրա։ Նա այս քայլին գնաց սոսկա այն բանի համար, որ Դանան երեկույթի ընթացքում խոսել  էր իր ամուսնու հետ։ Дана Вулин
Վուլինի դեմքի և մարմնի երկու-երրորդը պատված էր երրորդ կարգի այրվածքներով։ Հանցագործն ու իր մեղսակիցը փախան հանցանքի վայրից՝ անգամ չփորձելով օգնություն ցուցաբերել ողջ-ողջ այրվող Դանային։ Աղջիկը փրկվեց, կոմայից դուրս եկավ, սակայն հաջորդ երկու տարիների ընթացքում ստիպված էր աղավաղված մարմինը թաքցնել սկաֆանդր (ջրասուզազգեստ) հիշեցնող հագուստի տակ ու դիմակ կրել, մինչև որ բժիշկները նոր դեմք ստեղծեցին նրա համար։

Սրանք Դանայի խոսքերն են։ Նա ստիպված եղավ 30 ամիս շարունակ 30 տանջալից վիրաբուժական միջամտությունների ենթարկվել, որպեսզի հնարավոր լիներ վերամշակել նրա դեմքը։

Այս 28-ամյա ավստրալուհին, ով անցյալում հպարտանում էր իր արտաքինով, ստիպված եղավ իսկական դժոխքի միջով անցնել։ Նրա խոսքերով՝ շատ դժվար էր ապրել դեմքով, որի վրա չեն արտացոլվում էմոցիաները։ Ռեաբիլիտացիան ներառում էր լազերային թերապիա, որի ընթացքում լազերով այրում էին մաշկի վերին շերտերը և պլազմա կաթեցնում մաշկին։ Դրանից հետո աղջկա մոտ արգանդի վզիկի քաղցկեղ ախտորոշվեց, սակայն Դանան կարողացավ հաղթել հիվանդությանը։ Дана Вулин Այսօր Դանան հպարտ է, որ կարողացել է վերադառնալ նորմալ կյանքին։ Նա թքած ունի, որ մնացե են որոշ սպիեր։ Ամենախոր սպիերը Դանայի հոգում են մնացել, սակայն մենք հուսով ենք, որ դրանք ևս  ժամանակի ընթացքում կապաքինվեն։ Дана Вулин
