Գիտե՞ք, թե սուլթանի հարեմում ինչպես են հարճերին պատրաստել սիրո գիշերվան:

Մի անգամ Դուրսուն-Բեյը (թուրք ժամանակագիր) գրել է. «Եթե արևը տղամարդ լիներ, նույնիսկ նրան արգելված կլիներ նայել հարեմին»:

Օդալիսկա՝ այսպես են անվանել միայն սուլթանի համար նախատեսված գեղեցկուհիներին, որոնք ապրել են իսկական դրախտում: Հարեմում սուլթանի մի քանի հարյուր կին և հարճ է ապրել:

 

Այնտեղ հասանելիություն են ունեցել միայն սուլթանական ընտանիքի ընտրված անդամները: Սակայն հարեմում հայտնվելը հեշտ չի եղել:

Դա խիստ ընտրություն է եղել, պատահական աղջիկ այնտեղ չի հայտնվել: Հարեմի համար ընտրվել են որոշակի թվով սևահերներ և շիկահերներ, գնահատվել է սլավոնական արտաքինը:

Ուշադրություն են դարձրել ավելի շատ ազդրերին և իրանին, հասակը և կրծքի չափը երկրորդական են եղել: Բայց կարևոր է եղել ոչ միայն արտաքինը, միշտ ողջունվել է լավ մտքի առկայությունը:

Երբ աղջկան հաջողվել է տեղ ստանալ հարեմում, նրան սպասել է 2 տարվա ընդհանուր ուսուցողական կուրս:

Աղջիկները սովորել են լեզուներ, Ղուրանը, գրականություն, շատ են պարել, երաժշտական գործիքներ են նվագել, բանաստեղծություններ են կազմել և նույնիսկ կարողացել են լցնել սուլթանի ճխամորճը:

Կուրսը ներառել է նաև իրեն խնամել՝ աղջիկներն իմացել են՝ ինչպես պատրաստել այս կամ այն դիմակը:

Նրանց նաև սովորեցրել են ճիշտ հագնվել և զարդեր ընտրել: Նրանք նաև տիրապել են գայթակղելու արվեստին, իմացել են ինտիմ մարմնակրթության նրբությունները:

Դա հատուկ պար-մերկապար է եղել և վումբիլդինգ՝ հեշտոցի մկանների մարզանք: Այդ ժամանակ կոսմետիկան միայն բնական ծագման է եղել և շատ թանկ է արժեցել:

Առանձնակի տարածված է եղել փիփերթի յուղը, ամեն տարի հարեմ է տարվել այդ ծաղիկների հարյուրավոր կիլոգրամներ:

Նաև հատուկ կավ, բույսեր, հինա, վարդեր և մեխակներ են տարվել: Էլ չասած՝ դարչինի, կիտրոնի, սուրմայի և տոննաներ ոսկյա և արծաթե զարդերի մասին:

Սակայն այդ ամենը բավարար չի եղել. հնարավոր է եղել ամբողջ կյանքում հարեմում ապրել, բայց այդպես էլ ոչ մի անգամ սուլթանի մոտ չհասնել. նրա առաջ օրական հարյուրավոր հրաշագեղ աղջիկներ են երևացել:

Պետք է եղել շատ ջանք գործադրել նրանց թվում լինելու համար:

    

Ու եթե սուլթանն աղջկան նկատում էր, նրան «ոսկե ճանապարհ» է սպասվել՝ ընդհանուր ննջարանից մինչև սուլթանի բաղձալի հանգստարան: Առանձնակի տաղանդավոր աղջիկները սուլթանի ուշադրությունը գրավել են տարիներով՝ նրան վերածելով կախված մարդու:
