Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը հանդիպել է լիբանանյան Ցեդրուս Էնթերփրայզիզ հոլդինգի մասը կազմող ամերիկյան Ցանցային էներգետիկ ծառայությունների կորպորացիայի (NES) խորհրդի նախագահ, գլխավոր գործադիր տնօրեն Գեյթ Մադիի հետ: Միջազգային շուկայում գործունեություն իրականացնող ընկերությունն էներգախնայողության գործընթացներում համարվում է համաշխարհային առաջատար:

Ներկայացնելով միջազգային տարբեր կառույցների հետ ձևավորված համագործակցության ուղղություններն ու ծրագրերը` քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը նշել է, որ էներգախնայողության բարելավման ուղղությամբ ևս Երևանի քաղաքապետարանն ունի հաջողված ծրագրեր: 

«Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի և ՄԱԿ-ի զարգացման ծրագրի կողմից իրականացվող «Քաղաքային կանաչ լուսավորություն» ծրագրի շրջանակում վերջին տարիներին Երևանի տարբեր հատվածներում լուսավորության համակարգի էներգաարդյունավետ վերազինման և լուսադիոդային ժամանակակից լուսատուների տեղադրման աշխատանքներ են տարվում: Ի դեպ, վերջին տարիներին իրականացվող ճանապարհաշինական խոշոր ծրագրերում ևս հստակ պահանջ է դրված՝ դրանք էներգախնայող լուսատուներով կահավորելու հետ կապված», - նշել է քաղաքապետն ու հավելել, որ գործարար միջավայրի բարելավման և ներդրումների ներգրավման հետ կապված այսօր մայրաքաղաքում լուրջ քայլեր են ձեռնարկվում:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ ՆԵՍ կազմակերպության խորհրդի նախագահ, գլխավոր գործադիր տնօրեն Գեյթ Մադին բարձր է գնահատել քաղաքային տնտեսության կառավարման հարցում քաղաքապետի մոտեցումները և վստահեցրել, որ իրենց ընկերությունը ևս պատրաստակամ է մասնակցություն ունենալու Երևանում ներդրումային ծրագրերի իրականացմանը: 

«Որպես ոլորտի մասնագետ` կարող եմ վստահեցնել Ձեզ, պարոն քաղաքապետ, որ Երևանն իրոք զարգացման մեծ ներուժ ունի, և մեր ընկերությունը հետաքրքրված է Երևանում ևս ծրագրեր իրականացնելու հարցում: Մենք պատրաստ ենք ներկայացնելու հնարավոր համագործակցության կոնկրետ առաջարկներ, որոնք, հուսով եմ, կհետաքրքրեն Ձեզ», - նշել է Գեյթ Մադին: 

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով համագործակցության պատրաստակամության համար՝ քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն առաջարկել է ստեղծել աշխատանքային խումբ, որը կքննարկի և կամբողջացնի հնարավոր համագործակցության առաջարկների փաթեթը:
