Լիտվայում ՀՀ դեսպան Տիգրան Մկրտչյանը փետրվարի 20-ին հանդիպել է Վիլնյուսի համալսարանի ռեկտոր Արտուրաս Ժուկաուսկասի հետ։

Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից՝ հավելելով. «Հանդիպման ընթացքում զրուցակիցները խ ոսեցին Երևանի պետական համալսարանի և Վիլնյուսի համալսարանի միջև համագործակցության ներկա մակարդակի և այն զարգացնելու հեռանկարների շուրջ։

Արտուրաս Ժուկաուսկասը ընդգծեց, որ 2015թ-ին ԵՊՀ-ի հետ ստորագրվել Է համագործակցության հուշագիր, սակայն փոխգործակցությունը առավել խորացնելու համար անհրաժեշտ է երկկողմ ջանքեր ներդնել։ Վիլնյուսի համալսարանի ռեկտորը նշեց, որ մոտ ժամանակներս կընդլայնվի օտարերկրացի դոկտորանտների թիվը, որից կարող են օգտվել նաև հայ երիտասարդ գիտնականները։

Դեսպան Մկրտչյանն իր հերթին նշեց, որ, հաշվի առնելով Վիլնյուսի համալսարանի ավանդույթները և տարածաշրջանում ունեցած բարձր վարկանիշը, անհրաժեշտ է ջանքեր ներդնել համալսարանում հայագիտությունն ավելի ամուր հիմքերի վրա դնելու համար, ինչին ռեկտոր Ժուկաուսկասը դրական արձագանքեց։

Անդրադարձ կատարվեց նաև ԵՄ «Էրասմուս+» և «Հորիզոն 2020» ծրագրերի շրջանակներում Հայաստանի հետ համագործակցության զարգացմանը։

Հանդիպման ավարտին դեսպան Մկրտչյանը Վիլնյուսի համալսարանի գրադարանին նվիրեց Հայաստանի պատմությանը և մշակույթին վերաբերող երկու տասնյակից ավել բացառիկ գրքեր։
