Լիբիայում Քադաֆիի կառավարության անդամների նկատմամբ դատավարությունը մասնակիորեն Է համապատասխանել միջազգային ստանդարտներին: Այս մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ասված Է ՄԱԿ-ի՝ Լիբիայի աջակցման առաքելության եւ ՄԱԿ-ի Մարդու իրավունքների գերագույն կոմիսարի վարչության (ՄԻԳԿՎ) համատեղ զեկույցում, որը փետրվարի 21-ին տարածվել Է Ժնեւում:  

«Լիբիայում Սեյֆ ալ Իսլամ Քադաֆիի եւ Մուամար Քադաֆիի կառավարության 36 մյուս անդամների նկատմամբ դատավարությունը լիբիական դատական համակարգի կարեւոր փորձն Է (մեղավորներին) պատասխանատվության ենթարկելու 2011 թվականի հեղափոխության ժամանակ մարդու իրավունքների լուրջ խախտումների համար, բայց արդյունքում չի հասել արդարացի դատական պրոցեսի միջազգային ստանդարտներին»,- ասված Է ՄԱԿ-ի Մարդու իրավանունքների գերագույն կոմիսարի վարչության՝ զեկույցն ուղեկցող հայտարարության մեջ:  

ՄԻԳԿՎ-ն եւ ՄԱԿ-ի՝ Լիբիայի աջակցման առաքելությունը խորհուրդ են տալիս, որ «վճռաբեկ դատարանում գործը քննելիս նկատի առնվեն սույն դատավարությունում տեղ գտած լուրջ խախտումները, որոնք նշված են զեկույցում»:    

Սեյֆ ալ Իսլամը 2011 թվականից պատիժ Է կրում Զինթանի բանտում (Լիբիայի հյուսիս - արեւմուտք): Տրիպոլիի վերաքննիչ դատարանը 2015 թվականի  հուլիսի 24-ին հեռակա կարգով մահվան դատավճիռ Է կայացրել Սեյֆ ալ Իսլամի նկատմամբ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
