ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը փետրվարի 23-ին այցելել է Մխիթար Հերացու անվան Երևանի պետական բժշկական համալսարան (ԵՊԲՀ), հանդիպել պրոֆեսորադասախոսական կազմի, ուսանողների հետ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, մինչ ուսանողների հետ հանդիպումը, պա շտպանության նախարարը ԵՊԲՀ-ի ռեկտոր Արմեն Մուրադյանի, ՀՀ ԶՈՒ ռազմաբժշկական վարչության պետ, գնդապետ Կամավոր Խաչատրյանի և ԵՊԲՀ-ի ռազմաբժշկական ֆակուլտետի պետ, գնդապետ Սամվել Գալստյանի ուղեկցությամբ շրջել է ռազմաբժշկական ֆակուլտետում, ծանոթացել ուսումնական պրոցեսին, զրուցել ֆակուլտետի կուրսանտների` ապագա ռազմական բժիշկների հետ:

Ուսանողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ նախարար Սարգսյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել դահլիճում ներկա գտնվող ապրիլյան մարտական գործողությունների մասնակից նախկին զինծառայողներին` ցուցաբերած հայրենասիրության և հերոսության համար: 

«Մեր մեջ ընդունված է հերոսներին փնտրել այլուր: Հերոսներն իրականում մեր մեջ են, հերոսներն այն մարդիկ են, ովքեր ամենավճռական պահին, երբտատանվելը, մտահոգվելը կարող է թվալ բնական, ապացուցում են որ դա ոչ միայն բնական չէ, այլև հարիր չէ»,- նշել է նախարարը՝ վստահություն հայտնելով, որ եթե տղաները կրկին փորձության առջև կանգնեն, կդրսևորեն նույն խիզախությունը, ինչ ապրիլյան մարտական գործողությունների ժամանակ:

Այցի շրջանակում Վիգեն Սարգսյանը եղել է նաև Մխիթար Հերացու անվան Երևանի պետական բժշկական համալսարանի թիվ 1 հիվանդանոցային համալիրում, ծանոթացել բժշկական հաստատությունում զինհաշմանդամների համար նախատեսված վերականգնողական կենտրոնի ստեղծման աշխատանքներին:
