ԱՄՆ-ը սիրիական խնդիրը կլուծելի երկու ճանապարհով՝ բուն հակամարտության կարգավորմամբ, այդ թվում՝ «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ պայքարելով, ինչպես նաեւ անվտանգության գոտիների ստեղծմամբ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, փետրվարի 23-ին լրագրողների համար անցկացվաֆ բրիֆինգում հայտնել Է Սպիտակ տան մամուլի քարտուղար Շոն Սփայսերը:

«Մենք օգտագործելու ենք երկու ուղի՝ բուն սիրիական հակամարտության կարգավորումն ու պայքարը ԻՊ-ի դեմ, ինչպես նաեւ հումանիտար ուղին, որը ներառում Է անվտանգության գոտիների ստեղծումը: Կարծում եմ՝ մենք կընթանանք այս երկու ուղիներով»,- պարզաբանել Է նա: Սփայսերը ճշտել Է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը շարունակում Է այլ երկրների ղեկավարների հետ քննարկել Սիրիայում անվտանգության գոտիների ստեղծումը եւ այդ գործընթացի ֆինասնավորումը:

Ավելի վաղ ՌԴ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը հայտարարել Է, որ Ռուսաստանն ԱՄՆ-ից ճշտումներ Է ակնկալում Սիրիայում անվտանգության գոտիների ստեղծման նախաձեռնության վերաբերյալ: «Մենք այդ թեման արծարծել ենք ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Ռեքս Թիլերսոնի հետ փետրվարի 16-ին Բոննում կայացած իմ հանդիպման ընթացքում,-ասել Է նա:-Ամերիկյան կողմը հայտնել Է, որ այդ հայեցակարգն այժմ մշակման փուլում Է»:

«Մենք սպասելու ենք լրացուցիչ ճշտումների»,-հավելել Է Լավրովը: Սիրիայում անվտանգության գոտիներ ստեղծելու ԱՄՆ-ի նախաձեռնությունը պետք Է համաձայնեցվի երկրի իշխանությունների հետ, ասել Է նախարարը:

«Բնականաբար, հանդես ենք գալու այն բանի օգտին, որ այդօրինակ բոլոր նախաձեռնությունները, որոնք վերաբերում են Սիրիայի տարածքին, համաձայնեցվեն սիրիական կառավարության հետ, այլապես, հավանաբար, այնքան Էլ դյուրին չի լինի դրանց կամ այլ քայլերի իրականացումը»,-ասել Է նա:

Նրա խոսքով՝ Մոսկվան պատրաստ Է քննարկել Սիրիայում իրադրության կարգավորման վերաբերյալ ԱՄՆ-ի առաջարկությունները, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
