2016 թվականի ընթացքում, ելնելով ձևավորված մակրոտնտեսական իրավիճակից և գնաճային զարգացումներից, ՀՀ կենտրոնական բանկն իրականացրել է ընդլայնողական դրամավարկային քաղաքականություն, որը նպատակաուղղված է եղել առկա գնանկումային միջավայրի մեղմմանը:

Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է ՀՀ կենտրոնական բանկի կողմից հրապարակված գնաճի հաշվետվությունը: Ընդ որում, ԿԲ-ի հետևողականությունը դրամավարկային պայմանների աստիճանական թուլացման հարցում տվել է իր դրական արդյունքները, քանի որ պահպանվող ցածր գնաճի ներքո տարվա ընթացքում էականորեն նվազել են գնաճային սպասումները, դիտվել է ներքին պահանջարկի և գնաճի որոշակի չափով վերականգնում, ինչպես նաև նպաստել է եկամուտների գնողունակության պահպանմանը և արտաքին միջավայրի վերականգմանը:

 2016թ. չորրորդ եռամսյակում պահպանվել են տնտեսական ակտիվության աճի դանդաղ տեմպերը` հիմնականում պայմանավորված գյուղատնտեսության և հանքարդյունաբերության ճյուղերում թողարկման ծավալների նվազմամբ, ինչից ելնելով` ԿԲ-ն 2016 թվականին տնտեսական աճի կանխատեսումը վերանայել է դեպի ներքև, այդուհանդերձ, 2017 թվականին տնտեսական աճի կանխատեսումն էականորեն չի վերանայվել: 2017 թ-ից մինչև կանխատեսվող հորիզոնի վերջ, համաշխարհային տնտեսության աճի տեմպի որոշ չափերով արագացման, ՀՀ տնտեսությունում ակնկալվող ներքին պահանջարկի աստիճանական վերականգման, արտահանմանն ու ներդրումների խթանմանն ուղղված կառավարության մի շարք ծրագրերի և կառուցվածքային բարեփոխումների արդյունավետ իրագործման ազդեցությամբ, տնտեսական աճի տեմպերը կարագանան` աստիճանաբար մոտենալով երկարաժամկետ հավասարակշիռ մակարդակին: 2016թ. ընթացքում պահպանվող գնանկումային զարգացումները չորրորդ եռամսյակում որոշակիորեն մեղմվել են, և տարեվերջին 12-ամսյա գնաճը կազմել է -1,1 տոկոս: Պայմանավորված որոշ ոչ պարենային ապրանքների ակնկալվող ցածր գների ձևավորմամբ և այս տարվա փետրվարից էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագնի իջեցմամբ, գնաճի նպատակին հասնե լու հետագիծը նախորդ կանխատեսման համեմատ կլինի փոքր-ինչ ավելի դանդաղ: Մինչև 2017թ. վերջ գնանկումային միջավայրն աստիճանաբար կչեզոքանա, և կանխատեսվող հորիզոնում 12-ամսյա գնաճը կվերադառնա նպատակային ցուցանիշին:

 2015-2016 թթ. ՌԴ-ից դրամական փոխանցումների նվազումը բացասաբար է անդրադարձել  ներքին պահանջարկի վրա, այդուհանդերձ, նույն ժամանակահատվածում ԿԲ և կառավարության ջանքերով այդ ազդեցությունները չեզոքացվել են:

2016 թվականի համար գնահատվում է իրական արտահայտությամբ մասնավոր սպառման 0,9 տոկոս աճ, իսկ մասնավոր իրական ներդրումների` 2,5 տոկոս նվազում: 2016 թվականի տնտեսական աճը գնահատվում է 0,3-0,5 տոկոսի միջակայքում:
