 ՆԱՏՕ-ի համար գործընկերությունները շատ կարևոր են, հենց դրա համար էլ ՆԱՏՕ-ն ամրապնդում է գործընկերությունը Հայաստանի հետ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ համատեղ ասուլիսի ընթացքում նման հայտարարությամբ հանդես եկավ ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Յենս Ստոլտենբերգը:

Նրա տեղեկացմամբ` ՆԱՏՕ-ն Հայաստանի հետ ներկայումս համաձայնեցնում է Անհատական գործընկերության գործողությունների հեթական ծրագիրը համաձայնեցման գործընթացում ենք: «Կարծում եմ, որ գործընկերության շրջանակներում առավել շատ գործողությունների իրականացման համար դա տրամադրում է լավագույն համատեքստն ու հիմքը, որից Հայաստանն ու ՆԱՏՕ-ն կարող են օգտվել միասին»,- նշեց Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքի գլխավոր քարտուղարը:

Յենս Ստոլտենբերգը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց Հայաստանին ՆԱՏՕ-ի տարբեր գործողություններում ու առաքելություններում ներդրում ունենալու համար: «Ինչպես օրինակ այն ներդրումը, որ արվում է Աֆղանստանում ՆԱՏՕ-ի ներկայությանը` պայքարելով ահաբեկչության դեմ, Կոսովոյում ՆԱՏՕ-ի ներկայությանն ունեցած ներդրումը` օգնելով կայունացնել Արևմտյան Բալկանները»,- մանրամասնեց գլխավոր քարտուղարը:

Նա նաև նշեց, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ն էլ օգնում է Հայաստանին տարբեր եղանակներով` ռազմական կառույցների, ռազմական կրթության ոլորտների արդիականացման ուղղությամբ: «Մենք նաև միասին աշխատում ենք մի ծրագրի շուրջ, որը կոչվում է «Բարեվարքության ամրապնդում», որն առնչվում է զինված ուժերում կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարին»,- ընդգծեց Ստոլտենբերգը:

ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարն անդրադարձավ նաև զինված ուժերի վերապատրաստման հարցին: «Միայն այն փաստը, որ հայ զինվորները մասնակցում են ՆԱՏՕ-ի զորավարժություններին, թույլ է տալիս ամրապնդել միմյանց հետ աշխատելու հնարավորությունները ռազմական գործողությունների ընթացքում, ինչպես նաև մենք իրար հետ կիսվում ենք գիտելիքով, սովորում ենք մեկս մյուսից: Կարծում եմ, որ դա բարձրացնում է ինչպես Հայաստանի, այնպես էլ ՆԱՏՕ-ի զինվորների որակները: Մենք միասին աշխատում ենք նաև «քաղաքացիական-ռազմական» գործողությունների շրջանակներում, ինչպես արտակար գ իրավիճակներին արձագանքելու վարժանքները, որոնց Հայաստանը մասնակցեց անցյալ տարի: Բազմաթիվ գործողություններ կան, որոնց շրջանակներում մենք միասին ենք աշխատում, և դիտարկում ենք նաև այլ հարցերում միասին աշխատելու հնարավորությունները»,- շեշտեց Յենս Ստոլտենբերգը:

ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարը խոսեց նաև երկկողմ հանդիպումների մասին: «Հայաստանը ներկա էր Վարշավայի գագաթնաժողովին, իսկ այն հանդիպումը, որ մենք կունենանք մայիսին, երկրների ու կառավարությունների ղեկավարների հետ, գագաթնաժողով չէ. այն հատուկ կարճատև հանդիպում է, որի հիմնական նպատակն է ՆԱՏՕ-ում հյուրընկալել ԱՄՆ նոր նախագահին: Այսպիսով, այդտեղ մենք չենք ունենալու որևէ գործընկերոջ, այդ թվում և ընդլայնված հնարավորություններով գործընկերներին: Հայաստանը հրավիրվում է ՆԱՏՕ-ի տարբեր միջոցառումներին և մասնակցել է մեր վերջին գագաթնաժողովին»,- ամփոփեց Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքի գլխավոր քարտուղարը:
