 Հայաստանի և Եվրոպական միության միջև համապարփակ և ընդլայնված գործընկերության շրջանակային համաձայնագրի շուրջ բանակցությունները տեղի են ունեցել երկու կողմերի բարի կամքի դրսևորման արդյունքում:  Նման հայտարարությամբ Euronews-ի հետ զրույցում հանդես է եկել ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

«Այս համաձայնագիրն այդքան էլ շատ չի տարբերվում նախորդից: Քաղաքական մասում գրեթե տարբերություն չկա: Ինչ վերաբերում է տնտեսական մասին, մենք պետք է խուսափեինք Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության նկատմամբ մեր պարտավորությունների հետ հակասություններից»,- շեշտել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ղեկավարը:

ՀՀ Նախագահի խոսքով՝ ի սկզբանե, երբ բանակցություններ էին ընթանում, հայկական կողմը խոսում էր «և՛, և՛»-ի մասին: «Հասկանում էինք, որ չէինք կարող ունենալ և՛ Եվրամիության հետ ասոցացման համաձայնագիր, և՛ Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության հետ սերտ ինտեգրացիա, որին մենք ձգտում էինք: Ռուսական կողմը մեզ երբեք չի ասել, որ մենք նման համաձայնագիր չենք կարող ստորագրել: Նրանք մեզ ասացին, որ «կարող եք, եթե ցանկանում եք, սակայն այդ դեպքում էներգակիրները պետք է գնեք միջազգային գներով»,- ընդգծել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

ՀՀ Նախագահը կարծում է, որ դեռևս վաղ է խոսել ԵՄ-ի և ԵԱՏՄ-ի համարժեքության մասին: «Ավելի լավ է հիմա խոսել այդ երկու համակարգերի միջև համագործակցության մասին: Մենք մեր օրինակով ցույց ենք տալիս, որ այդ համագործակցությունը հնարավոր է»,- ասել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը:

Լրագրողի այն հարցին, թե ինչ կարող է Հայաստանն առաջարկել ԵՄ-ին՝ հաշվի առնելով, որ Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանն, իհարկե, «արտահանման» շատ լավ նախադեպ է, ՀՀ Նախագահն արձագանքել է հետևյալ կերպ. «Մենք շատ հայտնի մարդիկ ունենք ինչպես Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանը կամ շախմատիստ Լևոն Արոնյանը, ունենք օլիմպիական չեմպիոններ, սակայն կարծում եմ, որ մենք Եվրամիությանը կարող ենք օգտակար լինել մեր հրաշալի գյուղատնտեսական ապրանքների արտահանմամբ, Հայաստանում նաև շատ արագ զարգանում են տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաները, սակայն առաջին հերթին մենք Եվրամիության համար կարոÕ ² ենք լինել վստահելի, կանխատեսելի հարևան»:

Խոսելով ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ գործընկերությունից՝ Սերժ Սարգսյանն նշել է, որ նախօրեին ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Յենս Ստոլտենբերգի հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ վերջինիս հրավիրել է Հայաստան նշելու հաջող համագործակցության 25-ամյակը: «Մեզ այդ գործընկերությունը երբեք չի խոչընդոտում ՀԱՊԿ-ում մեր համագործակցությանը Ռուսաստանի հետ»,- ամփոփել է ՀՀ Նախագահը:
