Այսօր տեղի ունեցավ Կարապետյանների ընտանիքի կողմից հովանավորված «Երկիր դրախտավայր» գրքի շնորհանդեսը: Կարեն Կարապետյանի աշխատակազմի ղեկավար Արտակ Ճաղարյանն ORER.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց, որ Կարապետյանների ընտանիքը համաձայնել է ֆինանսավորել գրքի հրատարակմանը, ելնելով մի քանի պատճառներից. «Նախաձեռնությունը «Հայագիտակ» հրատարակչությանն էր, առաջարկվեց նման գիրք հրատարակելու համար աջակցություն ցուցաբերել, որին համաձայնությունը տրվեց` ելնելով մի քանի պատճառներից: Այն է՝ սա հիանալի ձեռնարկ է ոչ միայն պատմաբանների, այլև պատմությունն ուսումնասիրողների համար: Առաջին անգամ է ի մի բերվում հնագույն դարերից մինչև մեր օրերը 300-ից ավելի համաշխարհային նշանակույթուն ունեցող պատմաբանների, լրագրողների, գրողների, ճանապարհորդների, արվեստի, մշակույթի , քաղաքական գործիչների, նկարիչների խոսքերն ու կարծիքները Հայաստանի ու հայերի մասին: Եղել են տարբեր հրատարակություններ՝ ամեն մեկը մի տեղ, բայց ամբողջական մի տեղ հավաքված չեն եղել: Եվ վերջապես կարևորը, տարածաշրջանի տեղեկատվական հակամարտության դաշտում մեր հարևանները իրենց չեղած պատմությունը ձևակերպում ու կեղծում են նաև մեր հաշվին, իսկ մենք դրա խնդիրը չունենք: Մենք խնդիր ունենք փաստերը ներկայացնելու, ներկայացնելու նաև քաղաքակիրթ հանրությանը՝ նույն քաղաքակիրթ հանրության ներկայացուցիչների խոսքերով»:
Արտակ Ճաղարյանը նաև հավելեց, որ որոշակի տպաքանակ տրվելու է խոշոր գրադարաններին, հրատարակչության կողմից էլ որոշ տպաքանակ հանվելու է վաճառքի, որպեսզի գիրքը հասանելի լինի բոլոր ցանկացողներին: Նա վերջում նաև հույս հայտնեց, որ «Երկիր դրախտավայրը» լինելու է բոլորի սեղանի գիրքը:
