Ուժեղ կնոջ մասին խոսելիս, նախ պետք է խոսել վերահսկողության, ավելի կոնկրետ՝ շրջապատում տեղի ունեցող ամեն ինչը վերահսկելու ցանկության մասին, քանի որ վերահսկողությունը թուլացնելու դեպքում ամեն ինչ սարսափելի կդառնա։ Նման կնոջ համար նաեւ սարսափելի են անհայտությունը, թե ինչ կլինի հետո եւ մտքերը, որ կյանքը միայն իրենից կախված չէ, այլ եւս ինչ-որ մեկից ու ինչ-որ բանից։ Դա նշանակում է, որ ամեն ինչ չի կարելի կանխատեսել եւ հաշվարկել։ Իսկ գործնականում հենց այդպես է։ Անհնար է։ 

Ուժեղը կինը սպասումների «ամբողջություն է»։Սպասումներ, որոնք մշտապես չեն արդարանում, քանի որ վերահսկելու ցանկությունը կա, սակայն նման հնարավորություն չկա։ Բանն այն է, որ աշխարհում ամեն ինչ միայն նրանից կախված չէ։ Երբ մենք ինչ-որ բանի շատ ենք սպասում եւ հակառակն է տեղի ունենում, մենք հիասթափվում ենք։ Հիասթափություններից խուսափելու միջոցը ոչնչի չսպասելն է։ Սակայն ձեր եւ ոչ միայն ձեր կյանքը վերահսկելու ցանկության դեպքում հնարավոր չէ ոչնչի չսպասել։

Ուժեղ կինն ուղղակի կախվածություն է։ Ուժեղ կինը վախենում է կախված լինելուց։ Իսկ մարդիկ առհասարակ կախյալ էակներ են, քանի որ մարդ արարածը նախեւառաջ սոցիալական էակ է։ Շատ ծանր է, երբ կախվածությունն է վերահսկում մեզ, սակայն այլ մարդկանցից բոլորովին կախված չլինել, չի ստացվի։ Բանն այն է, որ ուժեղ կինն արդեն կախված է մյուսներից։

Չէ՞ որ բոլորը գիտեն՝ նա ուժեղ է։ Ինչպե՞ս նա կարող է հիասթափեցնել մյուսներին։ Ինչպե՞ս նակ կարող է թուլություն ցուցաբերել։ Հենց դա է կախվածությունը։ 
Ուժեղ կինն ուղղակի պատասխանատվություն է, ավելի կոնրետ՝ դրա բացակայությունը։ «Պատասխանատվությունից խուսափելու լավագույն միջոցը՝ ես եմ ամեն ինչի համար պատասխանատու, ասելն է»։ Ուժեղ կինը պատասխանատվություն է կրում ամուսնու, երեխաների, աշխատակիցների ու ընկերների համար։ Նա միայն պատրաստ չէ պատասխանաըվություն կրել ինքն իր համար։

Ուժեղ կինն ուղղակի օգնություն է։ Ուժեղ կինը սովոր չէ խնդրել։ Նա իրեն այնպես կպահի, որ ոչ ոքի մտքով անգամ չի անցնի, թե իրեն օգնություն է անհրաժեշտ։ Սակայն օգնությունն ու աջակցությունը նրա բաղձալի երազանքն են։ Իսկ երբ շրջապատող մարդիկ չեն էլ կռահում, թե իրականում նրան ինչ է պետք, նա զայրանում է ու իրեն կոպիտ պահում։

Ուժեղ կինն ուղղակի կատարելություն է։ Օգնություն խնդրել, նշանակում է, որ «ինքս չեմ հաղթահարի»։ Սակայն ուժեղ կինը ցանկանում է ավելի լավը, կատարյալ լինել, ուստի նա շատ պահանջկոտ է ինքն իր նկատմամբ։ Նա միշտ էլ ուժ ունի եւ կարող է ինքը լուծել իր խնդիրները։ 
Ուժեղ կինն ուղղակի միայնակություն է։ Նա ոչ ոքի վրա հույս չի դնում։ «Ցանկանում ես լավ անել, արա՛ ինքդ» ու ոչ ոքի չի վստահում, որովհետեւ սարսափելի է։ Իր ուժի մեջ նա միայնակ է ու տառապում է դրանից, սակայն չգիտի, թե ինչպես այդ մասին հայտնել ուրիշներին։
