Պատմությունը վկայում է, որ հռոմեացի կայսրերը եղել են իմաստուն, արդար և բարի: Բայց քիչ տեղերում է հիշատակվում, որ նրանք եղել են աշխարհի վատագույն այլասերվածները:

Նրանց այլասերվածություններից մի քանիսը ներկայացնում ենք ստորև․

Ամուսնություն զարմուհու հետ

Կլավդիոս կայսրը որոշեց ամուսնանալ իր եղբոր դստեր՝ Ագրիպինայի հետ: Քնքշանքների և համբույրների իրավունք ստանալով՝ սկսեց նրա հետ հարաբերություններ կառուցել և սենատի հաջորդ նիստում անդամներից ոմանց ստիպեց ենթադրել, որ ինքը ստիպված կլինի ամուսնանալ Ագրիպինայի հետ՝ ի շահ պետության: Նա նաև պնդեց, որ այդուհետ մյուսներին ևս կթույլատրվի այդպես ամուսնանալ, ինչը մինչ այդ արյունապղծություն էր որակվում:

Կայսերական հասարակաց տան ստեղծում

Ներոնը որոշեց սեքսով զբաղվել սեփական մոր՝ Ագրիպինայի հետ: Ի վերջո Ներոնը փորձեց սպանել իր մորը՝ նրան նստեցնելով կոտրված նավակի մեջ:

Տիբերիոս կայսրը երկու հիմնական զվարճանք ուներ՝ լողալ և գտնվել երեխաների շրջապատում: Նա փոքր տղաներին սովորեցրեց սողալ իր ոտքերի մեջտեղով, երբ ինքը գնում էր լողալու և իրեն լիզել ու կծոտել:

Ներոնը յուրատեսակ խաղ հորինեց՝ ինքը որևէ վայրի կենդանու կաշվով ծածկված՝ դուրս էր նետվում վանդակից և նետվում տղամարդկանց և կանանց սեռական օրգանների վրա, որոնք կապված էին սյուներին:
