 Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորմանն ուղղված բանակցությունները չեն ընթանում, քանի որ անցած տարվա ապրիլին Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի ժողովրդի դեմ ագրեսիան շատ լուրջ հարված է հասցրել բանակցային գործընթացին: Մարտի 10-ին Հունաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Նիկոս Կոցիասի հետ հանդիպումից հետո համատեղ ասուլիսում այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը: «Եվ հենց այդ պատճառով է, որ Հա յաստանը և եռանախագահող երկրները շարունակում են քայլեր ձեռնարկել, որպեսզի հնարավոր լինի պայմաններ ստեղծել բանակցություններն առաջ տանելու համար: Հենց այդ նպատակին էին միտված Վիեննայի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի գագաթնաժողովները: Ակնհայտ է, որ Հայաստանը և եռանախագահները խոսում են մեկ լեզվով, Ադրբեջանը՝ մեկ այլ: Հենց Ադրբեջանն է հրաժարվում կյանքի կոչել Վիեննայի և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգի պայմանավորվածությունները»,-  Արմենպրեսի հաղորդմամբ՝ ընդգծեց Նալբանդյանը:

Նախարարը հավելեց՝ երբ պայմանավորվածություններ են ձեռք բերվում, սակայն հետո Ադրբեջանը հրաժարվում է դրանք կյանքի կոչելուց, հարց է առաջանում՝ արդյոք այդ երկիրը պատրաստ է խաղաղ կարգավորման, արդյոք ցանկանում է բանակցությունների ճանապարհով հիմնախնդրի կարգավորմանը:

Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը շեշտեց, որ, այնուամենայնիվ, հակամարտության խաղաղ կարգավորմանն ու բանակցություններին այլընտրանք չկա: «Մենք շարունակում ենք քայլեր ձեռնարկել բանակցային գործընթացը շարունակելու ուղղությամբ համապատասխան պայմաններ ստեղծելու համար: Հենց դրան է միտված Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների այցն Ադրբեջան: Մարտի 28-ին եռանախագահները գալու են Հայաստան, լինելու են նաև Ղարաբաղում»,- հայտնեց Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:

Եզրափակելով խոսքը՝ ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարն ընդգծեց, բանակցությունները վերսկսելու համար պետք է բացառվեն այնպիսի իրադարձություններ, ինչպիսիք տեղի ունեցան նախորդ տարվա ապրիլին:
