 Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունում Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի պաշտոնական այցի առաջին օրն ավարտվել է ՌԴ-ում ՀՀ դեսպանությունում մոսկվայաբնակ հայազգի բժիշկների և ուսանողների հետ հանդիպմամբ, որին ներկա է եղել նաև Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու Նոր Նախիջևանի և Ռուսաստանի Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տեր Եզրաս արքեպիսկոպոս Ներսիսյանը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, հանդիպման մասնակիցներին ուղղված ողջույնի խոսքում ընդգծելով, որ իր արտերկրյա այցերի օրակարգում առանձնակի նշանակություն է տալիս սփյուռքի մեր հայրենակիցների հետ հանդիպումներին, քանի որ նրանք այլ երկրների հետ Հայաստանի համագործակցության ամուր հիմքն են` Նախագահը ասվածն առավել քան տեղին է համարել Ռուսաստանի դեպքում, որտեղ հայկական համայնքը աշխարհում ամենաազդեցիկներից է: 

Սերժ Սարգսյանը նշել է, թե հպարտ է, որ մոսկվայաբնակ հայազգի բժիշկները հավատարիմ են իրենց կոչմանն ու շարունակում են մեծ ներդրում ունենալ առողջապահության զարգացման գործում և անկախ գտնվելու վայրից՝ դժվարին պահին միշտ պատրաստ են համախմբվել ի նպաստ Հայրենիքի: Նախագահը այդ համատեքստում հիշել է, թե ինչպես անցած տարի ապրիլին` Հայաստանի և Արցախի համար դժվարին պահին, մոսկվայաբնակ հայ բժիշկները օգնության եկան, կանգնեցին երիտասարդ զինվորների կողքին` ցուցաբերելով բժշկական օգնություն և այդպիսով նաև անհրաժեշտ բարոյական աջակցություն: 

 Սերժ Սարգսյանն իր խոսքում անդրադարձել է նաև առողջապահության ոլորտում ձևավորված և հաջողությամբ զարգացող հայ-ռուսական փոխգործակցությանը: Ծավալված զրույցի ընթացքում հանդիպման մասնակիցներն իրենց առաջարկներն են ներկայացնել հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ իրականացվելիք աշխատանքների, այդ թվում՝ առողջապահության ոլորտում փոխգործակցության խորացման վերաբերյալ, ինչպես նաև Նախագահի առաջարկով տեսակետներ են հայտնել Հայաստանում ընթացող գործընթացների մասին:

ՀՀ դեսպանությունում Հանրապետության Նախագահը երեկոյան հանդիպում է ունեցել ռուսաստանյան պետական, քաղաքական գործիչ Սերգեյ Ստեպաշինի հետ: Նախագահը Սերգեյ Ստեպաշինին պարգևատրել է Պատվո շքանշանով՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության միջև դաշնային համագործակցության խորացման, ին չպես նաև հայ-ռուսական բարեկամական հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման և զարգացման գործում ներդրած նշանակալի ավանդի համար:
