ԱՄՆ-ի արեւելյան ափին մոլեգնող ձնաբուքը մարդկանց կյանք Է խլել

ԱՄՆ-ի արեւելյան ափին մարտի 14-ին մոլեգնած ձնաբուքը չորս մարդու կյանք Է խլել եւ խախտել միլիոնավոր ամերիկացիների առօրյա կյանքը: Տարերքը, որն ընդգրկել Է Վաշինգտոնը (Կոլումբիայի մայրաքաղաքային օկրուգ), Նյու Յորքի, Նյու Ջերսիի, Փենսիլվանիայի, Մասաչուսեթսի, Քունեքթիքութի, Մենի, Նյու Հեմփշիրի, Ռոդ Այլենդի եւ Վերմոնտի նահանգները, շարունակում Է մոլեգնել ու դեռեւս սպառնում Է Նոր Անգլիայի նահանգների բնակիչներին, տեղեկացնում Է Արմենպրեսը: 
 
Ձյան առատ տեղումներն ուղեկցվել են քամու՝ վայրկյանում մինչեւ 28 մետր պոռթկումներով, ցածր ջերմաստիճանով եւ գրեթե զրոյական տեսանելիությամբ: Նյու Յորքի առաձին շրջաններում, որը մյուսներից ավելի շատ Է տուժել տարերքից, ձյան ծածկույթը հասել Է կես մետրի: Ձնաբքի պատճառով զոհվել Է չորս մարդ, այդ թվում՝ 16-ամյա մի աղջիկ, որը ավտոմեքենայի կառավարումը կորցրել Է Նյու Հեմփշիրի նահանգի ձնապատ ճանապարհին: 
 
Գրանցվել են բազմաթիվ ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահարներ: Դրանցից երկուսի հետեւանքով Չիկագոյում  (Իլինոյսի նահանգ) բախվել են 30-ից ավելի ավտոմեքենաներ, տուժել Է առնավազն յոթ մարդ:    
 
Առանց Էլեկտականության Է մնացել շուրջ 200 հազար մարդ: Նյու Յորքում փլվել են կառուցվող երկու տներ: Ափամերձ մի քանի քաղաքներ, այդ թվում՝ Ատլանտիկ-սիթին (Նյու Ջերսիի նահանգ) հայտնվել են հեղեղումների ճիրաններում: 
 
Մարտի 13-ից մինչեւ 15-ը, CNN հեռուստաընկերության տվյալներով, ԱՄՆ-ում չեղարկվել Է շուրջ 8,8 հազար ավիաչվերթ: Տարերքի Էպիկենտրոնում հայտնված նահանգների իշխանությունները հայտարարել են դպրոցների փակման մասին: Մունիցիպալ բազմաթիվ հիմնարկներ ու գրասնյակներ նույնպես մարտի 14-ը ոչ աշխատանքային օր են հայտարարել: Մասնավորապես, այդ օրը չի աշխատել Նյու Յորքում ՄԱԿ-ի կենտրոնակայանը: 
 
Ընդամենը ձնաբուքը խնդիրներ Է ստեղծել երկրի արեւելյան ափին բնակվող ավելի քան 50 մլն ամերիկացիների համար: Նյու Յորքում, որտեղ արտակարգ դրություն Էր հայտարարված, ձնամաքրման աշխատանքներում ընդգրկվել են Ազգային գվարդիայի շուրջ երկու հազար ծառայողներ, փողոցներ են դուրս բերվել ձնահավաք շուրջ հինգ հազար մեքենա: Առաջիկա օերերին արեւելյան ափին կպահպանվի ձմեռային եղանակը, թեեւ շատ ծաղիկներ ու ծառեր հասցրել Էին արդեն ծաղկել, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
