 Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Ֆրանսուա Օլանդը համոզված է` վաղուց եկել է ժամանակը հասնելու առաջընթացի և գտնելու ուղիներ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում: Ինչպես հաղորդում է Արմենպրեսը` վկայակոչելով ադրբեջանական ԱՊԱ գործակալությունը, այս մասին Օլանդն ասել է պաշտոնական այցով Փարիզում գտնվող Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հետ ընթրիքի ժամանակ:

Նշելով, որ բանակցությունները շարունակվում են արդեն 23 տարի և կողմերը դեռ չեն եկել որևէ արդյունքի` Օլանդն ասել է. «Չկա ավելի վատ բան, քան ստատուս-քվոն: 2016 թվականի ապրիլին և մի քանի շաբաթ առաջ տեղի ունեցած բախումներն ապացուցում են, որ այս հակամարտությունը երբեք չի դադարել»:

Ֆրանսիայի նախագահը հիշեցրել է, թե որքան շատ ջանքեր է իր երկիրը ներդնում ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի մյուս համանախագահների հետ խնդրի կարգավորման ուղղությամբ: «Ես ասել եմ սա մի քանի օր առաջ Փարիզ ժամանած նախագահ Սարգսյանին, կկրկնեմ նաև Ձեր առջև. այս հակամարտությունը չի կարող կարգավորվել ռազմական ճանապարհով: Ֆրանսիան Ռուսաստանի և Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ անխոնջ կերպով կշարունակի միջնորդական ջանքեր գործադրել: Այդ ջանքերը հիմնված են տարածքային ամբողջականության և ինքնորոշման սկզբունքների, ինչպես նաև ռազմական ուղիներից խուսափելու վրա: Ֆրանսիան պատրաստ է ցանկացած նախաձեռնություն դրսևորել այս շրջանակում»,- ասել է Օլանդը:
