 Ռուսաստանը Հայաստանի առաջատար տնտեսական գործընկերն է: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին Մոսկվայում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ հայտարարեց ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը:

«Նախորդ տարվա արդյունքներով երկու երկրի միջև առևտրաշրջանառությունն ավելացել է վեց տոկոսով: Սա կարևոր արդյունք ենք համարում, որին հասել ենք ոչ կայուն գլոբալ տնտեսական իրավիճակում: Առևտրի ապագա ընդլայնման և դիվերսիֆիկացման նպատակով ներկայում մշակվում է փոխադարձ հաշվարկներում ազգային արժույթների կիրառման հնարավորությունը: Ռուսական ներդրումները Հայաստանի տնտեսությունում գերազանցել են երեք միլիարդ ԱՄՆ դոլարը: Հանրապետությունում գործում են ռուսական կապիտալով շուրջ երկու հազար ձեռնարկություն: Ակտիվորեն զարգանում է համագործակցությունն էներգետիկայի ոլորտում: Ռուսաստանը հանդիսանում է Հայաստանին բնական գազի մատակարարման ամենամեծ մատակարարողը»,- նշել է Պուտինը` ասելով, որ հայկական սպառման 100 տոկոսը ռուսական գազն է:

Նա անդրադարձել է ռուսական ընկերությունների կողմից Հայաստանում արված ներդրումներին: «Գազպրոմ»-ի աջակցությամբ վերակառուցվել է Հրազդանի ջերմաէլեկտրակայանի հինգերորդ էներգաբլոկը: «Ռոսատոմ»-ն իրականացնում է հայկական ատոմային էլեկտրակայանի մոդերնիզացիան: Հաջողությամբ առաջ է ընթանում համագործակցությունը լեռնահանքային արդյունաբերությունում: Ռուսական «Պոլիմետալ» ընկերությունը Հայաստանում զբաղվում է ոսկու արդյունահանման տարածքների յուրացմամբ: «Ռոսալ»-ը ներդրել է 120 մլն դոլար ալյումինի համատեղ արտադրանքի թողա րկման համար: Ռուսաստանն օգնում է ՀՀ տրանսպորտային ենթակառուցվածքների զարգացման հարցում: «Ռուսական երկաթգիծ»-ն իրականացնում է երկաթգծերի տեխնոլոգիական թարմացման մասշտաբային ծրագիր` 500 մլն դոլարի ներդրում»,- ընդգծել է ՌԴ նախագահը:

Նա նշել է, որ թե Ռուսաստանի, թե Հայաստանի համար հատուկ նշանակություն ունեն սերտ կապերը մշակութային, գիտական, կրթական ոլորտներում: «Ռուսական բարձրագույն ուսումնական հաստատություններում սովորում են շուրջ 5.5 հազար հայ քաղաքացիներ, որոնցից ավելի քան 1500-ը Ռուսաստանի դաշնային բյուջեի հաշվին»,- ասել է Պուտինը:
