ԱՄՆ-ում մահացել է լեգենդար ռոք-երաժիշտ եւ կիթառահար Չաք Բերրին

ԱՄՆ Միսսուրի նահանգի իր տանը մարտի 18-ին 90 տարեկանում մահացել է լեգենդար ռոք-երաժիշտ եւ կիթառահար Չաք Բերրին։ Տեղի ոստիկանության փոխանցմամբ, շտապօգնության աշխատակիցները արտիստին հայտնաբերել են առանց կյանքի նշանների, վերակենդանացման փորձերն արդյունք չեն տվել, հաղորդում է DW-ն։

Չարլզ Էդվարդ Անդերսոնը, ով հայտնի է դարձել Չաք Բերրի անունով, ծնվել է 1926 թվականին եւ դեռեւս մանուկ հասակում սովորել է կիթառ նվագել։ 1940-ական թվականներին նա խնդիրներ է ունեցել օրենքի հետ եւ դատապարտվել, սակայն ժամկետից շուտ ազատ է արձակվել։ Այնուհետեւ նա աշխատել է որպես վարսավիր, միաժամանակ նվագելով տարբեր երաժշտական ակումբներում։

Նա հասարակությանը հայտնի է դարձել 1955 թվականին՝ Maybellene սինգլի թողարկումից հետո։ Նրա ստեղծագործություններից ն նաեւ Roll over Beethoven-ն նու Sweet Little Sixteen-ը։ Կիթառով նվագելու նրա ոճը ոգեշնչել է Չիմի Հենդրիքսին եւ Էրիկ Քլեփթոնին։

1959 թվականին Բերրին դատապարտվել է 1,5 տարվա ազատազրկման՝ 14-ամյա աղջկա հետ անբարոյական կապի համար։ Միայն 1970-ական թվականներին է նա կարողացել վերադարձնել իր սպիտակ հաջողությունը։ Նա մինչեւ իր կյանքի վերջը զբաղվել է երաժշտությամբ։

Ամերիկացի երաժիշտ Բրյուս Սփրինգսթինը, որն իր կարիերան սկսել է Բերրի խմբում, Twitter-ում մեկնաբանել է Չաք Բերրիի մահը՝ նշելով. «Չաք Բերրին ռոքի ամենամեծ պրակտիկն էր, կիթառահարը»։
