 Եվրոպայի Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի նախաձեռնությամբ Ստեփանակերտ ժամանած Բելգիայի Թագավորության Դաշնային և Բրյուսելի շրջանային խորհրդարանների պատգամավորներ Անդրե դե Բյուս դե Վարնաֆը, Էմանուել դե Բոկը և Պիեռ Կոմպանին մարտի 20-ի վաղ առավոտյան Արցախի Ազգային ժողովի նախագահի տեղակալ, «Արցախի Հանրապետություն-Եվրախորհրդարան» բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Վահրամ Բալայանի ուղեկցությամբ այցելել են Ստեփանակերտի հուշահամալիր և ծաղիկներ են խոնարհել ի հիշատակ Արցախյան ազատագրական պայքարում նահատակված հայորդիների: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք Արցախի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողովի մամուլի ծառայությունից:

Բելգիացի խորհրդարանականներին այնուհետև ընդունել է Արցախի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Աշոտ Ղուլյանը:

Ողջունելով բելգիացի գործընկերներին՝ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահը հույս է հայտնել, որ բելգիացի խորհրդարանականների հետ հաճախացած հանդիպումները հարաբերություննեոի ինստիտուցիոնալացման լուրջ հիմքեր են ստեղծում:

«Փոխադարձ այցերի հաճախականությունը ցույց է տալիս Բելգիայում Արցախի և նրա ազատագրական պայքարի հանդեպ ունեցած հետաքրքրությունը»,- նշել է Աշոտ Ղուլյանը:

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ընդունելության համար՝ Վալոնիա-Բրյուսել Դաշնային խորհրդարանի անդամ Անդրե դե Բյուս Դե Վարնաֆը շնորհավորել է ԱԺ նախագահին՝ Արցախի Հանրապետության սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների գործընթացի ու հանրաքվեի արդյունքների կապակցությամբ և ընդգծել, որ իրենց համար Արցախի հարցն ավելի կարևոր է դառնում և իրենք ուշադրությամբ հետևում են տեղի ունեցող զարգացումներին:

Բրյուսելի Շրջանային խորհրդարանի անդամ Պիեռ Կոմպանին, ով առաջին անգամ է Արցախում, խորհրդարանի նախագահին է ներկայացրել Արցախի վերաբերյալ իր դիտարկումը. «Ես այստեղ տեսնում եմ երկիր, որի նպատակը ոչ թե ամեն գնով առանձնանալն է, այլ՝ պատմական սխալն ուղղելը: Սա ինձ համար մեծ դաս է»:

Այնուհետև, հյուրերի խնդրանքով, Աշոտ Ղուլյանը ներկայացրել է նոր Սահմանադրության հիմնական առանձնահատկությունները, ինչպես նաև պատասխանել Արցախի կարգավիճակին և Հայաստանի հետ երկկողմ հարաբերություններին վերաբերող հարցերին:  

Հանդիպմանը մասնակցում էին Ազգային ժողովի փոխնախագահ Վահրամ Բալայանը, արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արզիկ Մխիթարյանը, Եվրոպայի Հայ դատի հանձնախմբի ղեկավար Գասպար Կարապետյանը և ՀՀ ԱԺ մամլո ծառայության ղեկավար Արսեն Բաբայանը: 

Խորհրդարանի նախագահի հետ հանդիպումից հետո ԱԺ փոքր դահլիժում տեղի է ունեցել բելգիացի խորհրդարանականների հանդիպումը «Արցախի Հանրապետություն-Եվրախորհրդարան» բարեկամական խմբի անդամների հետ:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերը խոսել են երկկողմ համագործակցության հեռանկարների մասին, ինչպես նաև ուրվագծել փոխգործակցության որոշակի ուղղություններ:
