Գեղարքունիքի մարզի Մարտունի քաղաքի Սուրբ Աստվածածին եկեղեցու վերանորոգման աշխատանքները դեռ չեն ավարտվել: Այս մասին Orer.am –ի հետ զրույցի ժամանակ նշեց Տեր Սիմոն քահանա Տեր-Մկրտչյանը: Ինչպես պատմեց քահանա Տեր-Մկրտչյանը, տեղի ժողովուրդը եկել է Ալաշկերտից 1827 թվականներին:

 

«Նրանք ունեն շատ զորեղ հավատք, պարզապես կոմունիստների ժամանակ դիալիզ արեցին ու հավատքը փորձեցին հանել մարդկանց միջից, սակայն նրանց պապենական արմատներն այնքան ամուր են, որ ամեն ինչ վերականգնվեց»,- ասաց նա՝ հավելելով. «Մարդիկ պարզապես եկեղեցի չունեին, այն նոր ենք սկսել վերանորոգել: Եկեղեցի չունենալու դեպքում էլ մենք ինքներս ունեինք այդ կենդանի եկեղեցին, օրինակ՝ ջրօրհնեքի, տաղավար տոների ժամանակ մարդկանց 80%-ը գալիս էր եկեղեցի՝ եկեղեցի չլինելու պայմաններում»,- ասաց քահանա Տեր- Մկրտչյանը ընդգծելով՝, երբ առաջին անգամ քաղաքում ջրօրհնեք է արվել, արարողությանը մասնակցել են ընդամենը երկու կին, սակայն այսօր արդեն տոնի ժամանակ երկու տոննա ջուր է օրհնվում ու բաժանվում:

Տեր-Մկրտչյանը հիշում է, երբ նոր էր ժամանել Մարտունի, այդտեղ կային բազմաթիվ աղանդներ, ժողովուրդը մոլորյալ էր ու չէր հասկանում, թե որն է ճշմարիտ հավատը, սակայն ժամանակի ընթացքում ու եկեղեցու վերանորոգումից հետո ամեն ինչ ընկավ իր տեղը:

Եկեղեցու վերանորոգման աշխատանքների համար քահանան շնորհակալություն է հայտնում տեղաբնակներից, ովքեր աջակից են եղել այդ կարևորագույն գործի համար: «Թեկուզ եկեղեցու վերանորոգման աշխատանքները դեռ ավարտին չեն հասցվել, այնուամենայնիվ, վստահաբար կասեմ, որ այս եկեղեցին դառնալու է հզոր հավատատեղ: Վերանորոգման աշխատանքներից հետո այն կվերաօծվի: Տեղի բնակիչների հավատը զորեղ է»,- ասաց Տեր Սիմոն քահանա Տեր-Մկրտչյանը:
