Օմբրե տեխնիկան արդեն մի քանի սեզոն է՝ շարունակում է նորաձեւ մնալ։ Այս տեխնիկան բոլորիս հայտնի է որպեսզ մազերը ներկելու տարբերակ, ոմանց նաեւ մանիկյուրի ասպարեզում։ Քչերը գիտեն, որ այն բավականին արդիական է նաեւ դիմահարդարման մեջ։

Դիմահարդարման նոր տեխնիկայի հիմքն օմբրեն է. այն  կոչվում է դեգրադե։ Դեգրադեի դեպքում սահուն անցում է կատարվում մեկից մյուս գույնին, իսկ այդ գույներն իրարից էապես կարող են տարբերվել։ Դրանք ասես լուծվում են իրար մեջ։

Թրենդը ներկայացրել են միանգամից մի քանի հայտնի նորաձեւության տներ։ Նման դիմահարդարումով մոդելների կարելի էր տեսնել  Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Givenchy, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Dior նորաձեւության տների ցուցադրություններում։
