Անդրանիկ Մարգարյան. մինչ օրս նրա տեղը բաց է: Մարդու նրա տեսակը համարյա չլրացվեց: Մարդասեր, բարի, հումորով, ավանդապաշտ ու հայրենասեր, գիտեր խոսքի արժեքը, գիտեր, որ պահին` ինչպես կողմնորոշվել:

Քաղաքականության մեջ դեմ էր կտրուկ, «թուր-թվանքով» հարցեր լուծելուն : Գնահատում էր անգամ իրեն ամենասուր քննադատողների արժանիքները, քաղաքական հակառակորդների հայրենիքին մատուցած ծառայությունների գինը:

2004թ-ի ապրիլին էլի ներքաղաքական իրավիճակը Հայաստանում լարված էր: Ընդդիմությունը իշխանությանը  երկխոսության  էր հրավիրում` քննարկելու Սահմանադրության, Ընտրական օրենսգրքի բարեփոխումների, կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարի եւ Եվրախորհրդի պարտավորությունների կատարման հարցերը:

Հանգիստ էր վերաբերում, գտնում էր, որ ժողովրդին լարել ու տանել պայքարի սխալ է:

«Անկախ նրանից, դա կոչվում է սահմանադրական հեղաշրջում կամ զինված հեղաշրջում, սա հեղաշրջում է, եւ իշխանությունները պարտավոր են օրենքի սահմաններում կատարել համապատասխան գործողություններ»,-նշել է Անդրանիկ Մարգարյանը:

Բարիկադների մյուս կողմում իր նախկին ընկերներն էին: Մարգարյանն արձագանքել էր. «Այո, ընկերներն են, բայց եթե իմ ընկերները բարձրացնում են քաղաքական հարցեր, ինչին ես համաձայն չեմ, դա դեռ չի նշանակում, որ մենք թշնամիներ ենք, բայց եթե կատարում են քայլեր, որոնք դեմ են մեր երկրի կայունությանը, հեղաշրջման կոչ են անում՝ թեկուզ սահմանադրական ճանապարհով, ապա քաղաքական պայքարում մենք մրցակիցներ ենք…

Բայց ես խորհուրդ կտայի իմ ընկերներին, որպեսզի պահպանեն օրենքի տառը եւ ոգին, եւ մեր երկրի հետագա զարգացումը հարցականի տակ չդնեն»:

Այսօր եւս նրա շիրիմին ծաղիկներ ու ծաղկեպսակներ կդրվեն, կհիշեն նրա խոսքերը, խրատները, որոնցով սերունդ է դաստիարակվել:
