Հայկական երկու հանրապետությունների փոխգործակցության շրջանակում աշխատանքային այցով Արցախի Հանրապետությունում գտնվող ՀՀ Նախագահ, Զինված ուժերի գերագույն գլխավոր հրամանատար Սերժ Սարգսյանը Արցախի Հանրապետության Նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանի, հայկական երկու հանրապետությունների պաշտպանության նախարարների և զինված ուժերի բարձրաստիճան հրամկազմի ներկայացուցիչների հետ այսօր ներկա է գտնվել հարավային ուղղությամբ տեղակայված զորավարժարաններից մեկում անցկացված գնդային մարտավարական զորավարժությունների եզրափակիչ` մարտական հրաձգության փուլին: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության եւ տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, զորավարժությունների ավարտին Հանրապետության Նախագահը խրախուսական նվերներ է հանձնել զորավարժություններին ակտիվ մասնակցություն ցուցաբերած սպաներին ու ժամկետային զինծառայողներին և զորքի առջև հանդես է եկել ելույթով:

Շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիդ ուսումնամարտական խնդիրը բարեհաջող կատարելու կապակցությամբ: Կեցցե՛ք դուք: Մեր ժողովուրդը պատմության ընթացքում մշտապես դժվարություններ է ունեցել՝ նրա անվտանգությունն ապահովված չի եղել, և այսօր, շնորհիվ հայկական բանակի, մեր ժողովրդի անվտանգությունն ամուր ձեռքերում է: Մենք ամեն ինչ պետք է անենք ձեզ հետ միասին, որպեսզի որևէ մեկը չփորձի խաթարել այդ անվտանգությունը:

Վերջին քսանհինգ տարիների ընթացքում ձևավորվեց և ամրացավ հայկական բանակը: Մենք զինված ուժերը ձևավորում էինք մարտական գործողություններին զուգահեռ, բայց դրա հետ միասին ամեն օր փորձում էինք նոր հմտություններ ձեռք բերել, փորձում էինք ավելի կարգապահ լինել, հակառակորդին ավելի ծանր հարվածներ հասցնել: Նույնը պետք է անենք հիմա: Չնայած նրան, որ մեր զորքի մարտունակությունը բարձր է, բայց մենք ամեն օր պետք է ձեռք բերենք նոր գիտելիք, մենք պետք է կարողանանք մեր սպառազինությունից առավելագույնը քամել, որովհետև սպառազինությունը ինքնին ոչինչ է: Սպառազինությունը դառնում է զենք, երբ սպան ու զինվորը տիրապետում են այդ զենքին:

Ես վստահ եմ, սիրելի՛ զինվորներ, որ դուք ամեն օր ավելի եք ամրանում, ավելի մարտունակ եք դառնում, որովհետև եթե դա չլինի՝ վտանգը, անպայման, դառնալու է իրականություն, վտանգը դառնալու է կոնֆլիկտ, վտանգը դառնալու է պատերազմ, իսկ այստեղ՝ այս տարածաշրջանում պատերազմ զսպողը դուք եք:

Շնորհակալ եմ ձեր ծնողներին՝ ձեր դաստիարակության համար, շնորհակալ եմ ձեր ուսուցիչներին՝ ձեզ կրթելու համար, և իհարկե, շնորհակալ եմ ձեզ, որ դուք կարողանում եք անել գրեթե անհնարինը: 

Վստա՛հ եղեք՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ղեկավարությունը, կառավարությունը շարունակելու է մշտապես իր թիվ մեկ խնդիրը համարել մեր զինված ուժերի սպառազինությունը, մեր զինված ուժերի ապահովումը, և դուք էլ, ձեր հերթին պետք է ամենօրյա ծառայությամբ վստահեցնեք մեր ժողովրդին, որ պատրաստ եք անառիկ պահելու այս սահմանները:
