10 տարի առաջ Vivid Entertainment-ը հրապարակել է հեռուստաաստղ Քիմ Քարդաշյանի էրոտիկ բնույթի տեսանյութը։ Տեսանյութում ռեփեր Ռեյ Ջեյն ու Քիմն են։ Այդ ամենը նկարահանվել է Մեքսիկայում, երբ Քիմը 23-տարեկան էր։

PageSix.com-ը խոսել է այդ պատմությանը մասնակից մարդկանց հետ, որոնք փաստել են, որ Քիմն իր ընկերուհու՝ Փերիս Հիլթոնի հետ Ավստրալիայում էր, երբ տեսանյութը համացանցում տարածվել է:

In Touch Weekly ամսագրի նախկին խմբագիր Կևին Դիկսոնը PageSix.com-ի հետ զրույցում ասել է, որ Քիմն այդ շրջանում փորձել է ստիպել  ինքն իրեն գրել այդ մասին ու նրան մշտապես նոր պատմություններ է ուղարկել։ Այս ամենից հետո, Քիմը մեկ անգամ հայտնվել է Փերիս Հիլթոնի «The Simple Life» ռեալիթի շոուում, որից հետո In Touch Weekly-ն համաձայնել է տպագրել նրա պատմությունները։

«Մենք փորձում էինք համոզել նրան, որպեսզի Նիք Լաչեյի հետ հանդիպման գնա, որպեսզի հայտնի մեկի ընկերուհին դառնա։ Նրանք միասին ընթրիքի գնացին։ Ռեստորանի մոտ պետք է մեր պապարացիները լինեին, սակայն նրանք հայտնել էին նաև այլ պապարացիներին։ Դա իրական խառնաշփոթ էր»,- ասել է Դիկսոնը։

Քիմի փաստաբանը՝ Մարտի Սինգերը փորձում էր ստիպել PageSix.com-ին  դադարել պապարացիներին հայտնել Քիմի գտնվելու վայրը։ Երբ տեսանյութի մասին խոսակցությունները հանդարտվել են, ձայնագրություն է հայտնվել, որտեղ Քիմը խոսում է Փերիսի հետ ու արտասվում․ «Դա ես չեմ, ես չեմ․․․»,- ասում էր Քիմը։

«Նա ամն բան հերքում էր ու արտասվում»,- ասել է Դիկսոնը։

Քիմը փորձել է թույլ չտալ, որպեսզի տեսանյութը տարածվի, սակայն, ի վերջո վաճառել է այն Vivid Entertainment-ին։

«Նա իրոք մեզ է վաճառել նկարահանված նյութերը, որպեսզի մենք կարողանաք տարածել դրանք»,- ասել է Vivid Entertainment-ի հիմնադիր Սթիվեն Հիրշը՝ PageSix.com-ի հետ զրույցում։

Վաճառքի համար Քիմը ստացել է 5մլն դոլար, գումարի չափը չի քննարկվել։

«Երբ ես սկսեցի Քիմի հետ գումարի մասին խոսել, նա դադարեց արտասվել ու սկսեց ինձ հետ ավելի հաճախ շփվել»,- ավելացրել է Դիկսոնը:

«Kim Kardashian Superstar»-ը թողարկվել է 2007 թվականի մարտի 21-ին։ Դրանից հետո Քիմը միանգամից համաշխարհային ճանաչում է ունեցել։ Տեսանյութի վաճառքը նպաստել է իր ու Փերիս Հիլթոնի ընկերության ավարտին։ 2007-ի օգոստոսին Փերիսի «The Simple Life» ռեալիթի շոուն փակվել է, իսկ երկու շաբաթ հետո  MTV-ն սկսել է համագործակցել Քարդաշյան-Ջեներ ընտանիքի հետ։

Նշենք նաև, որ Քիմի էրոտիկ տեսանյութը դիտվել է 150մլն անգամ, իսկ վաճառքից ստացված գումարը կազմել է մոտավորապես 50մլն դոլար։
