Ապրիլի 9-ին Եգիպտոսում ահաբեկչական գործողություններ կատարած անձանց ինքնությունները պարզված Է: Ինչպես հայտնել Է Egypt News թերթը, դրանք առայժմ նախնական տվյալներ են, որոնք հաստատված չեն իշխանությունների պաշտոնական հայտարարություններով, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:   
 
Հրատարակության տեղեկատվությամբ՝ Ալեքսանդրիայի եկեղեցում պայթուցիկ սարքը գործի Է դրել Աբու Իսհաք ալ Մասրի մականունով 26-ամյա եգիպտացին, ծնունդով երկրի հյուսիսի Նեղոսի դելտայի Շարքիայի նահանգի Մինյա Էլ Քամհ քաղաքից: Այս նահանգը գտնվում Է Ալեքսանդրիայից ոչ հեռու եւ գործնականում՝ Գարբիայի նահանգի հարեւանությամբ, որտեղ Տանտայում որոտացել Է երկու պայթյուններից մեկը:    
Երիտասարդը մի քանի ամիս հաշվապահ Է աշխատել Քուվեյթում, որտեղից մեկնել Է Թուրքիա, այնուհետեւ 2013 թվականին հայտնվել Է Սիրիայում: Նրա բնակության վերջին վայրը եղել Է Հյուսիսային Սինայը, որտեղ գտնվում են «Անսար Բեյթ ալ Մաքդիս» ծայրահեղական խմբավորման վարժանքների ճամբարները, խմբավորում, որը համարվում Է «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական կազմակերպության բջիջը:  
Տանտայի եկեղեցում ահաբեկչական գործողությունն իրականացրել Է Աբու Բարա ալ Մասրի մականունով 42-ամյա եգիպտացին, ծնունդով Գարբիայի հարեւան Քաֆր Էշ Գեյխի նահանգից: 2013 թվականին նա թողել Է կնոջը եւ երեք երեխաներին եւ մեկնել Սիրիա, որտեղից՝ Լիբանան, այնուհետեւ կրկին վերադարձել Է Սիրիա: 
 
ԻՊ-ն, որը նախօրյակին ստանձնել Է Եգիպտոսի եկեղեցիներում կատարված ահաբեկչական գործողությունների պատասխանատվությունը, որի զոհ Է դարձել ավելի քան 40 մարդ, նույնպես այդ մարդկանց անվանել Է ահաբեկչական գործողությունների կատարողներ եւ սպառնացել Եգիպտոսում նոր գրոհներով, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
