Հայաստանի ամենախոշոր վարկատուն Համաշխարհային բանկն է:

Այս մասին նշված է Ֆինանսների նախարարության պատրաստած 2017 թվականի առաջին եռամսյակի վերջին Հայաստանի արտաքին պարտքի վիճակի մասին տեղեկանքում:

Այս ժամանակահատվածում պետական պարտքը կազմել է ընդամենը 2 տրլն 901 մլրդ դրամ կամ 5 մլրդ 996 մլն դոլար, որից արտաքին պարտքը կազմում է 78,7 տոկոսը, ներքինը՝ 21,3 տոկոսը:

Արտաքին վարկերի 49,9 տոկոսը բաժին է ընկնում Համաշխարհային բանկին, այդ թվում՝ 32,3 տոկոսը Զարգացման միջազգային ասոցիացիային, և 17,6 տոկոսը՝ Վերակառուցման եւ զարգացման միջազգային բանկին: Զարգացման ասիական բանկին բաժին է ընկնում արտաքին պարտքի 14,8 տոկոսը, Զարգացման եվրոպական բակին՝ 6 տոկոսը:

Արժույթի միջազգային հիմնադրամին բաժին է ընկնում 3,6 տոկոսը, Եվրոպական ներդրումային բանկին՝ 2,8 տոկոսը, Եվրամիությանը՝ 2 տոկոսը: Վերակառուցման եւ զարգացման եվրոպական բանկին՝ 0,6 տոկոսը: 

Առանձին երկրներից ամենախոշոր վարկատուն է Ճապոնիան (ի դեմս Ճապոնական միջազգային համագործակցության գործակալության՝ 7,2 տոկոս), Գերմանիան՝ 3 տոկոս (հիմնականում KfW բանկի միջոցով), Ֆրանսիան՝ 2,5 տոկոս (հիմնականում Ֆրանսիական զարգացման գործակալության միջոցով), Ռուսաստանը՝ 1,8 տոկոս (չհաշված Եվրասիական զարգացման բանկը, որի հիմնական անդամն է):
