Gallup Korea-ի հարցումների համաձայն՝ նախընտրական արշավի մեկնարկին առաջատարը «Թոբուրո» լիբերալ-դեմոկրատական կուսակցության թեկնածու Մուն Չժե Ինն է, որի օգտին պատրաստ է քվեարկել ընտրողների 40%-ը: Երկրորդ տեղում կենտրոնամետ Ժողովրդական կուսակցության թեկնածու Ան Չհոլ Սուն է՝ 37% աջակցությամբ:

Ան Չհոլ Սուն Մուն Չժե Ինին մեղադրել է այն բանում, որ իր կուսակցության միայն մեկ խմբակցության ղեկավարն է եւ «Թոբուրո»-ն կարողացել է գլխավորել ինտրիգների եւ խաբեության շնորհիվ: «Չի կարելի է նորից թույլ տալ, որ երկիրը խմբակցություն ղեկավարիկ»,- հայտարարել է նա՝ նշելով, որ «Մուն Չժե Ինը ոչ թե միավորում, այլ բաժանում է մարդկանց:
