Ամերիկյան Facebook կորպորացիան մշակում Է մեթոդներ, որոնք մարդկանց թույլ կտան համակարգիչը կառավարել մտքի ուժով՝ առանց սարքերի կիրառման: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ապրիլի 19-ին այս մասին հայտարարել Է Ռեգինա Դուգանը, որն ընկերությունում գլխավորում Է Building 8 անվանումը կրող բաժինը, որն զբաղվում Է համապատասխան հետազոտություններով:   
«Իսկ եթե՞ դուք կարողանաք անմիջականորեն գրանցել մտքերը: Դա անիրական Է թվում, բայց նման բան, հավանաբար, հնարավոր կլինի ավելի շուտ, քան դուք ենթադրում եք»,- նշել Է նա F8 կոչվող ճյուղային խորհրդաժողովում ունեցած ելույթի ժամանակ, խորհրդաժողով, որը Facebook-ը կազմակերպել Էր Սան Խոսե քաղաքում (Կալիֆոռնիայի նահանգ): Աշխատակցուհին նշել Է, որ մոտ հեռանկարում ընկերության խնդիրն Է ստեղծել համակարգ, որը թուլ տա մտքի ուժով գրանցել րոպեում 100 բառ եւ չպահանջի ինչ-որ տարրերի ներընտելացում մարդու մարմնի մեջ:     
Facebook-ը, մասնավորապես, քննարկում Է հատուկ տվիչների միջոցով լռություն պահպանող մարդու ուղեղում խոսողական կենտրոնների ակտիվությանը հետեւելու եւ տեղեկատվությունը  համակարգչին փոխանցելու հնարավորությունը: Ըստ որում Դուգանը հավաստիացրել Է, որ ընկերությունը չի փորձում մշակել համակարգեր, որոնք «վերծանեին մարդկանց պատահական մտքերը», հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
