Սիրիայում քիմիական զենքի կիրառման հետ կապված տեղի ունեցածի քննությունը պետք է հրապարակային եւ թափանցիկ լինի: Այս մասին հայտարարել է ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը, փոխանցում է «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ն: 

«Ապրիլի 4-ին Հան Շեյհունում տեղի ունեցածին նման սադրանքները պրոֆեսիոնալ քննություն են պահանջում՝ Քիմիական զենքի արգելման կազմակերպության հովանավորությամբ, աշխարհագրականորեն հավասարակշռված հիմքի վրա, ըստ որում՝ նման քննությունը պետք է հրապարակային եւ թափանցիկ լինի»,- հայտարարել է Լավրովը:

Ապրիլի 4-ին Սիրիայի ընդդիմությունը հայտարարել է Իդլիբի նահանգի Հան Շեյհունում քիմիական զենքի կիրառմամբ հարձակման հետեւանքով 80 զոհի եւ 200 վիրավորի մասին՝ հարձակման պատասխանատու համարելով Սիրիայի կառավարական զորքերին: Սիրիայի իշխանությունները հայտարարել են, որ խաղաղ բնակիչների եւ ահաբեկիչների դեմ երբեք քիմիական զենք չեն կիրառել, եւ երկրի ամբողջ քիմիական սպառազինությունը երկրից դուրս է բերվել Քիմիական զենքի արգելման կազմակերպության վերահսկողությամբ:
