Обладательница звания “Самый старый человек в мире” рассказала, что ее секрет в том, она не пьет ЭТО

15 апреля 2017 года в возрасте 117 лет года умерла итальянка Эмма Морано, которая была признана «Самым старым человеком в мире». Также она была последним человеком, который родился в 1800-х годах.

После её смерти представители Книги рекордов Гиннеса передали этот титул 117-летней Вайолет Мосс-Браун.

Мосс-Браун или как её называют близкие «тетя В» родилась 10 марта 1900 года на Ямайке. Её жизнь была невероятной. Она видела одни из самых важных исторических событий, включая изобретение электричества и сантехники, появление первых автомобилей и самолетов.

Сегодня «тетя В» по-прежнему живет на Ямайке, в Дуанвале, где ее семья провела последние 200 лет. Она окружена внуками и правнуками и чувствуют себя счастливой.

Как же ей удалось дожить до 117 лет?

Мосс-Браун поделилась своими секретами долгожительства в местной прессе.

1. Она избегает употребления трёх продуктов

«Когда люди меня спрашивают, что я ем и пью, чтобы жить так долго, я говорю им, что ем всё, кроме свинины и курицы, и я не пью ром», — сказала Мосс-Браун.

Её 97-летний сын Гарольд Фэйрвейзер добавил: «Она любит рыбу и баранину. Также предпочитает картофель, хлебное дерево, апельсины и манго».

2. Она много трудится

Мосс-Браун и ее покойный муж долгое время работали фермерами, выращивая тростник, пока не продали свой участок в более крупное фермерство. Ее муж стал сторожем на местном кладбище, а она библиотекарем.

Сегодня Мосс-Браун больше там не работает, но она не перестает трудиться. «Она по-прежнему очень трудолюбива, даже сейчас», — рассказала ее внучка Лелит Палмер.

3. Она остается позитивной

Друзья и семья Мосс-Браун с удовольствием наслаждаются компанией этой позитивной леди, которая любит побаловать их интересными рассказами. А своё любимое стихотворение Байрона она все еще может прочесть наизусть.

«Неужели мне больше 100 лет? Я не чувствую себя на столько», — говорит она, улыбаясь.

После получения титула «Самый старый человек в мире» Мосс-Браун сказала: «Я чувствую себя хорошо, и я счастлива. Я не думала, что стану самым старым человеком. Спасибо Богу за все, что Он мне дал».
