Եգիպտոսի մայրաքաղաք Կահիրեում ապրիլի 24-ին մեկնարկել է H.H. SHEIKHA FATIMA BINT MUBARAK WOMEN'S INTL. SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP - RIFLE / PISTOL  մրցաշարը՝ Եգիպտոսի նախկին նախագահ Մուբարակի տիկնոջ կազմակերպած կանանց միջազգային մրցաշարը՝ օդամղիչ հրացան և ատրճանակ ձևերից:

10մ, օդամղիչ հրացան կանանց պայքարում Մարիամ Միքայելյանը, խոցելով 411,8 միավոր, 6-րդ հորիզոնականով անցել է եզրափակիչ փուլ: Եզրափակիչում նա բարելավվել է դիրքերը և գրավել 3-րդ տեղը: Մարիամ Միքայելյանը Երևանի հրաձգության մանկապատանեկան մարզադպրոցի սան է, անձնական մարզիչն է Անդրանիկ Այվազյանը:

10մ, օդամղիչ ատրճանակ կանանց պայքարում Էլմիրա Կարապետյանը, խոցելով 377 միավոր, 5-րդ հորիզոնականով անցել է եզրափակիչ փուլ: Նա մրցելույթն ավարտել է՝ գրավելով 6-րդ տեղը: Էլմիրա Կարապետյանը Հրաձգության հանրապետական մարզադպրոցի սան է, անձնական մարզիչն է Նորայր Առաքելյանը:

Հայ հրաձիգները այս բարձր արդյունքները խոցել են՝ չնայած մեծ խոչնդոտներին. նրանք մեկնել են միջազգային մրցաշարին՝ առանց իրենց անձնական զենքերի: Պատճառը ավիաընկերության կողմից սխալ տեղեկատվությունն է եղել՝ զենքերը տեղափոխելու հետ կապված,  և վերջին պահին ստիպված են եղել մեկնել առանց զենքերի:
