ԵԱՀԿ-ում ԱՄՆ առաքելության գործերի ժամանակավոր հավատարմատար Քեյթ Բըրնսը հայտարարել է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգներն ափսոսանք է հայտնում Երևանում ԵԱՀԿ գրասենյակի փակման կապակցությամբ:

«Մենք ցավում ենք Հարավային Կովկասում ԵԱՀԿ դաշտային վերջին գործողությունները կորցնելու համար: Տեղում գործողությունները ստանում են ընդունող երկրների աջակցությունը՝ օգնելով ամրապնդել ԵԱՀԿ սկզբունքներին և հանձնառություններին հավատարմությունը, ապահովելով վաղ նախազգուշացում հնարավոր ճգնաժամային կառավարման հարցում ու նպաստելով կառավարությունների ու քաղաքացիական հասարակության միջև երկխոսությանը: Մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում ինչպես գերմանական, այնպես էլ ավստրիական նախագահության սկզբունքային ջանքերը՝ Երևանում ԵԱՀԿ գրասենյակի գործունեության մանդատի երկարաձգման շուրջ փակուղային իրավիճակը կարգավորելու ուղղությամբ: Մենք ցավում ենք, որ Ադրբեջանը հրաժարվել է համաձայնել մանդատը երկարաձգել, եթե գրասենյակը չդադարեցնի իր գործունեությունը հումանիտար ականազերծման շուրջ: Հայաստանը փոխզիջման ոգով համաձայնել է, որ երևանյան գրասենյակը վերջ տա իր այդ գործունեությանը: Չնայած նախագահության կողմից ամիսների ընթացքում գործադրված ջանքերին՝ նա չկարողացավ գտնել ընդունելի լեզու մասնակից պետությունների Մշտական խորհրդի որոշմամբ գրասենյակի մանդատը երկարաձգելու հարցում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ, ասել է Բըրնսը՝ ավելացնելով, որ ԱՄՆ-ը ընդունում է Հայաստանի կառավարության համագործակցությունը ԵԱՀԿ-ի հետ:

ԵԱՀԿ-ում ԱՄՆ առաքելության գործերի ժամանակավոր հավատարմատարն ընդգծել է, որ երևանյան գրասենյակը կարևոր դեր է խաղացել երկրի կողմից ԵԱՀԿ-ի առջև ստանձնած հանձնառությունների կատարման հարցում՝ բոլոր երեք հարթություններում, նպաստելով ոստիկանության, հարկային և նորմատիվային բարեփոխումներին, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը, կանանց իրավահավասարությանը և ԶԼՄ-ների ազատությանը:

«Այդ ջանքերը բերեցին դրական արդյունքների:  ԱՄՆ-ը խրախուսում է ԵԱՀԿ-ին՝ շարունակելու համագործակցությունը Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հետ, ինչպես կառավարության, այնպես էլ քաղաքացիական հասարակության: Մենք կոչ ենք անում Նախագահությանը և գլխավոր քարտուղարին՝ ուսումնասիրել նոր հնարավորություններ՝ Հայաստանում և ամբողջ Հարավային Կովկասում ԵԱՀԿ-ի ներկայությանն աջակցելու համար: ԱՄՆ-ը շնորհակալություն է հայտնում դեսպան Ավակովին և նրա աշխատակիցներին՝ կատարած աշխատանքի համար և մաղթում հետագա հաջողություններ»,- ասել է Բըրնսը:            

ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ն քննադատաբար է արձագանքել ԵԱՀԿ գրասենյակի փակման հարցում Բաքվի ջանքերին. «ԵԱՀԿ ավստրիական նախագահության և մասնակից երկրների ջանքերը՝ Բաքվին կառուցողական դաշտ վերադարձնելու և Երևանում ԵԱՀԿ գրասենյակի բնականոն գործունեությանը չխոչընդոտելու ուղղությամբ, ապարդյուն անցան։

Ինչպես արտաքին, այնպես էլ ներքին քաղաքականության մեջ Ադրբեջանը ամենօրյա ռեժիմով ոտնահարում է ԵԱՀԿ սկզբունքներն ու հանձնառությունները, այդ թվում` հիմնարար ազատությունները, և այս առումով մշտապես գտնվում է միջազգային քննադատության թիրախում: Իսկ այժմ, խոչընդոտելով նաև ԵԱՀԿ գործունեությունը և հերթական անգամ մարտահրավեր նետելով միջազգային հանրությանը, Բաքուն արձանագրեց միջազգային ասպարեզում իր հերթական ձախողումը` խորացնելով անջրպետը իր և քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհի միջև»:
