Վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում Բուլղարիայի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Մարիա Պավլովա Ցոցորկովա-Կայմակտչիևային: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, վարչապետը նշել է, որ Հայաստանը շահագրգռված է միջպետական հարաբերությունները խորացնելու հարցում: Կարեն Կարապետյանը կարևորել է տնտեսական համագործակցության, գործարար կապերի հետագա զարգացումը և այդ համատեքստում անհրաժեշտ համարել միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի գործունեության ակտիվացումը:

Կառավարության ղեկավարը նշել է, որ բուլղար ներդրողները Հայաստանը կարող են դիտարկել Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության և իրանական շուկաներ մուտք գործելու հարթակ՝ ավելացնելով, որ բուլղարական կապիտալը հնարավորություն ունի ներգրավվել նաև Մեղրիի ազատ տնտեսական գոտում: Կարեն Կարապետյանն ավելացրել է, որ համագործակցության հեռանկարներ է տեսնում նաև տրանսպորտի ոլորտում, մասնավորապես Սև ծով-Պարսից ծոց միջազգային տրանսպորտային միջանցքով մուլտիմոդալ բեռնափոխադրումների առումով:

Վարչապետը խնդրել է իր ողջույններն ու շնորհավորանքները փոխանցել Բուլղարիայի նորընտիր վարչապետ Բոյկո Բորիսովին: 

Մարիա Պավլովա Ցոցորկովա-Կայմակտչիևան նշել է, որ Բուլղարիան ևս կարևորում է Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների ամրապնդումը և ավելացրել, որ դրա համար լավ հիմք են երկկողմ բազմադարյա բարեկամական կապերը: Ընդգծելով տնտեսական փոխգործակցության զարգացման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ նա անհրաժեշտ է համարել տարբեր բիզնես ֆորումների, գործարար կապերի խթանման, ներդրումային նոր ծրագրերի իրականացման միջոցով առևտրաշրջանառության ծավալների ավելացումը: Տիկին դեսպանը հավելել է նաև, որ Բուլղարիան պատրաստ է իր փորձը կիսել Հայաստանի հետ տարբեր ոլորտներում, այդ թվում՝ պետական կառավարման համակարգում, գյուղատնտեսության բնագա վառում իրականացված բարեփոխումների ուղղությամբ: 

Զրուցակիցները հայ և բուլղար ժողովուրդների շփումների ամրապնդման կարևոր հիմնաքարերից են համարել կրթամշակութային համագործակցությունը, մասնավորապես, մշակութային օրերի անցկացման և կրթական փոխանակման ծրագրերի միջոցով:
