Եմենի մայրաքաղաք Սանայում, որը գտնվում Է հուսի ապստամբների վերահսկողության ներքո, արտակարգ դրություն Է հայտարարված խոլերայի բռնկման պատճառով, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին: 
 
Եմենի առողջապահության նախարարությունը միջազգային հումանիտար կազմակերպություններին հորդորել Է երկրին օգնություն ցույց տալ խոլերայի համաճարակի դեմ պայքարելու համար:  
 
Եմենի առողջապահության համակարգը, որը խիստ տուժել Է ռազմական գործողություններից, չի կարող հաղթահարել համաճարակը, հավելել են նախարարությունում:
 
Մայիսի 11-ին ՄԱԿ-ում հայտնել են, որ վերջին ժամանակներս Եմենում խոլերայից 51 մարդ Է մահացել:   
 
«Կարմիր խաչի» տվյալներով՝ մայիսի 14-ի դրությամբ մահացածների թիվը հասել Է 115-ի: 
 
Ենթադրվում Է, որ վարակվածների թիվը կազմում Է 2,7 հազարից մինչեւ 8,5 հազար:
Եմենում շարունակվում Է պատերազմը հուսի ապստամբների, որոնց աջակցում Է Իրանը, եւ կառավարական բանակի միջեւ, որն ստանում Է Սաուդյան Արաբիայի գլխավորած կոալիցիայի աջակցությունը:
