Ռուսաստանն այն կարծիքին չԷ, որ անհրաժեշտ Է ակտիվացնել քրդական հարցի լուծման աշխատանքը: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը,  հայտնել Է ՌԴ-ի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը Չինաստան այցի ընթաքում կայացած մամուլի ասուլիսում:
«Մենք, ի տարբերություն այլ երկրների, չենք հայտարարում քրդական կազմավորումներին զենքի մատակարարումների մասին, դե նրանք Էլ առանձնապես մեր մատակարարումների կարիքը չունեն: Նրանք ունեն այդ զենքն ստանալու այլ աղբյուրներ: Մենք չենք կարծում, թե անհրաժեշտ Է ինչ-որ կերպ ակտիվացնել այդ աշխատանքը»,- ասել Է Պուտինը:  
Նա նշել Է, որ այս հարցն ինքը քննարկել Է իր թուրք պաշտոնակից Թայիփ Էրդողանի հետ: «Մենք այս հարցը քննարկել ենք Թուրքիայի նախագահի հետ, Նա իր մտահոգությունը հայտնեց այս առնչությամբ, երբ մենք նրա հետ հանդիպեցինք Սոչիում»,- նշել Է ՌԴ-ի նախագահը:   
 
Դրա հետ մեկտեղ Պուտինը, մեկնաբանելով սիրիացի քրդերի հետ ռուս մասնագետների շփումների վերաբերյալ հաղորդումները, հայտարարել Է, որ Ռուսաստանն իրեն իրավունք Է վերապահում աշխատանքային շփումներ պահպանել Սիրիայի քրդական ստորաբաժանումների հետ, քանի որ նրանք պայքարում են ահաբեկիչների դեմ, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
