ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարար Արծվիկ Մինասյանը ուղերձ է հղել կենսաբազմազանության միջազգային օրվա առթիվ: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից: Ուղերձում ասվում է.

«Հարգելի հայրենակիցներ

Մայիսի 22-ին աշխարհի բազմաթիվ երկրների հետ  միասին Հայաստանը նշում է կենսաբազմազանության միջազգային օրը: Կենսունակ էկոհամակարգերը և կենսաբազմազանությունը մարդկության գոյության կարևորագույն նախապայմաններից են, որոնք ընձեռում են հասարակության զարգացման և տնտեսական աճի լայն հնարավորություններ: Համաշխարհային տնտեսության թռիչքային աճի ներկայի տեմպերն առաջնային հարթակ են մղում կենսաբազմազանության պահպանության խնդիրները:

Կենսաբազմազանության պահպանության առաջնայնությունն ընդգծելու նպատակով 1993թ. ՄԱԿ-ն ընդունել է «Կենսաբազմազանության մասին» կոնվենցիան, որն ստորագրել է աշխարհի ավելի քան 168 երկիր: Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը, կարևորելով միջազգային հանրության նախաձեռնած գործընթացը, 1993թ. նույնպես վավերացրել է նշված կոնվենցիան և ստորագրել կենսաբազմազանության հետ կապված մի շարք բնապահպանական միջազգային համաձայնագրեր ու արձանագրություններ` իր վրա վերցնելով պարտավորություններ: Վերջիններիս իրականացումը նպատակաուղղված է շրջակա միջավայրի և Հայաստանի հարուստ կենսաբազմազանության արդյունավետ պահպանությանը:

«Կենսաբազմազանության մասին» կոնվենցիան Հայաստանը վավերացրել է երկրի անցումային շրջանի առավել ծանր ժամանակահատվածում, երբ զրկված էր կենսաապահովման տարրական միջոցներից: Սակայն, արդեն այդ ժամանակ գերակայող էր այն գաղափարը, որ Հայաստանի զարգացումը մեծապես կախված է կենսառեսուրսների առկայությունից, որոնք ընդերքի պաշարների հետ հավասարապես, երկրի համար ռազմավարական նշանակություն ունեն:

Այսօր Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կառավարությունը բնապահպանական և մասնավորապես` կենսաբազմազանության պահպանման հիմնախնդիրները, դասում է ազգային և պետական գերակայությունների շարքում:

Այդպես է լինելու նաև առաջիկայում և մեր բոլորի կողմից իրականացվող  աշխատանքները կտան սպասված արդյունքները:

Շնորհավորում եմ  մեր քաղաքացիներին կենսաբազմազանության միջազգային օրվա առթիվ, կոչ անում լինել հոգատար մեզ շրջապատող բնության նկատմամբ, պահպանել և  սերունդներին փոխանցել մայր բնությունից ստացած մեր երկրի հարուստ ու ինքնատիպ  կենսաբազմազանությունը»:
