Մոդել, դերասանուհի Շուշան Երիցյանը կրկին հայտնվել է քննադատությունների կենտրոնում: Նա, հրապարակելով իր լուսանկարներից մեկը, ցուցադրել է մարմնի եւ ձեռքի վրա հինայով արված դաջվածքը: Ըստ կարծիքների՝ հնդկական հեռուստասերիալների պատճառով Հայաստանը բռնել է համատարած «հնդկայնացման» ճանապարհը, հայուհիները հնդկական թեմատիկայով են տարվել, եւ Շուշան Երիցյանն էլ է որոշել հետ չմնալ «թրենդից» ու իր ձեռքին ու մարմնին Մեհենդի է նկարել՝ հնդկական հերոսուհիներից Իչակիի նման: 
 
Life.panorama.am-ի հետ զրույցում Շուշանը նշեց, որ իրեն ապշեցնում են մարդկանց նման  կարծիքները.
«Ինձ համար նույնիսկ ծիծաղելի է, որ մարդիկ նման բաներ են մտածում: Հինան ինչ է, որ մի հատ էլ սենց թեմա են դարձնում: Ասեմ հրապարակայնորեն՝ ես չեմ ճանաչում այդ Իչակիին, չեմ հետեւում հայկական հեռուստընկերություններում մեծ տարածում գտած հնդկական հեռուստասերիալներին, ու նույնիսկ խիստ դեմ եմ, քանի որ դրանք համարում եմ ցածրորակ արտադրանք: Ինչ վերաբերվում է հինայով տատուներին, դրանք ինձ համար եւ գեղեցիկ են, եւ թրենդային, ու բացի այդ, առաջին տարին չէ, որ ամռանը օգտագործում եմ նման զարդարանք մարմնի վրա: Սա նոր թրենդ չէ, տարիներ շարունակ, հատկապես ամռանը աղջիկները հինայով տատուներ անում են»,- նշեց Շուշանն ու ընդգծեց.
