Հնդկաստանը եւ Պակիստանը Շանհայի համագործակցության կազմակերպության լիիրավ անդամներ կդառնան կազմակերպության՝ հունիսին Աստանայում կայանալիք գագաթնաժողովում: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ՇՀԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ռաշիդ Ալիմովը ՌԻԱ Նովոստիին հայտնել Է «Ռուսաստան-Չինաստան. դեպի նոր որակի երկկողմ հարաբերություններ» երրորդ միջազգային խորհրդաժողովի կուլիսներում: Նրա խոսքով՝ առաջիկա գագաթնաժողովը լինելու Է «բացարձակապես նոր» որակի կազմակերպության հանդիպում:

«Դա կլինի բացարձակապես նոր որակի կազմակերպություն, քանի որ վեցյակը սահունորեն վերաճում Է ությակի: Գործնականում բոլոր ցուցանիշներով այն կմեծանա»,-նշել Է նա:

«Այո՛: Հնդկաստանը եւ Պակիստանը»,-ասել Է նա, պատասխանելով այն հարցին, թե դա նշանակում Է արդյոք, որ ՇՀԿ-ի նոր անդամները (Հնդկաստանը եւ Պակիստանը) լիովին կընդունվեն եւ կհաստատվեն առաջիկա գագաթնաժողովում:

ՇՀԿ-ն միջազգային կազմակերպություն Է, որը 2001 թվականին հիմնվել Է Չինաստանի, Ռուսաստանի, Ղազախստանի, Տաջիկստանի, Ղրղզստանի եւ Ուզբեկստանի ղեկավարների կողմից: 2016 թվականի հունիսին Ուզբեկստանում կայացած գագաթնաժողովում հուշագրեր են ստորագրվել կազմակերպությանը Հնդկաստանի եւ Պակիստանի անդամակցության մասին:

Ներկայում ՇՀԿ-ում դիտորդ երկրներ են Աֆղանստանը, Բելառուսը, Իրանը եւ Մոնղոլիան, գործընկեր երկրներ են՝ Հայաստանը, Ադրբեջանը, Կամբոջան, Նեպալը, Թուրքիան եւ Շրի Լանկան:
