Հայաստանի տնտեսության զարգացման վերաբերյալ, ցավոք, մինչ օրս համընդհանուր կոնցեպտ գոյություն չունի մշակված՝ կոնցեպտ, որը կտար մի կարևորագույն հարցի պատասխան՝ ինչպիսի՞ տնտեսությամբ երկիր ենք ցանկանում տեսնել Հայաստանն տարիներ հետո: Թվում է՝ մի տեսակ հռետորական հարց է, սակայն, իրականում հենց այս հարցի պատասխանից է կախված այն, թե ինչ ուղղությամբ կզարգանա Հայաստանը. կշարունակենք մնալ առևտրային թերզարգացած տնտեսությամբ երկիր, թե՞ վերջապես կսկսենք բարիք արարել, արտադրել ու գոնե ներքին պահանջարկը բավարարել: Դատելով այն տենդենցներից, որոնք վերջին տարիներին նկատվում են Հայաստանում, երբ գրեթե ամեն 6 ամիսը մեկ մի նոր սուպերմարկետ կամ մոլ է բացվում,  կարող ենք ասել, որ տնտեսությանն առնչվող  արմատական վերանայումներ մեզանում այդպես էլ չեն գրանցվի. լավագույն դեպքում դառնալու ենք սուպերմարկետների պետություն:

Այսպես՝ պարզվում է՝ ԱԺ պատգամավոր Սամվել Ալեքսանյանն առաջիկա օրերին Երևանում ամենախոշոր մոլն է բացելու՝ «Մեգա Մոլ Մասիվ» հնչեղ անվամբ: Թե ինչով է պայմանավորված Ալեքսանյանի ձգտումը՝ դառնալու քաղաքում ամենամեծ մոլի սեփականատեր, իրականում կարելի է միայն կռահել. չի բացառվում, որ գործ ունենք սովորական մարդկային սնափառության հետ:

Ալեքսանյանը, փաստորեն, կրեց բոլորին: Իհարկե, Ալեքսանյանի անձնական նախասիրությունները խոսակցության միանգամայն այլ թեմա են, սակայն այն, որ նման տեմպերով շարունակելու դեպքում մեր տնտեսությանը լավ բան չի կարող սպասվել, անքննարկելի է: Ինչո՞ւ: Բանն այն է, որ սուպերմարկետների, հիպերմարկետների  ավելացումն ուղիղ համեմատական է Հայաստանում անհատ ձեռներեցության մակարդակի անկմանը: Հետևաբար՝ միմյանց միջև խանութների յուրատեսակ մրցույթ հայտարարելու փոխարեն շատ ավելի առողջ մրցակցություն կլիներ, եթե մոլերի սեփականատերերը մրցակցեին արտադրություն հիմնելու հարցում...

Իրականում, սակայն, Հայաստանի տնտեսության առևտրային բնույթն ունի նաև որոշակի օբյեկտիվ պատճառներ. մենք այդպես էլ չենք կարողանում տեղում արտադրել այնպիսի ապրանքներ, որոնք ավելի էժան կլինեին ներկրվածներից: Այլ կերպ ասած՝ տնտեսապես Հայաստանում արտադրություն հիմնելն ուղղակի ձեռնտու չէ: Իսկ այ թե ինչ կարելի է կամ պետք է անել, որպեսզի այս իրավիճակը շտկվի, խոսակցության միանգամայն այլ թեմա է...
