ՀՀ աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի  նախարար Արտեմ Ասատրյանը հունիսի  1-ին՝  Երեխաների պաշտպանության միջազգային օրվա կապակցությամբ այցելել է Խարբերդի  մասնագիտացված մանկատուն և  ներկա գտնվել  մանկատան սաների կողմից կազմակերպված միջոցառմանը, որտեղ երեխաները պարել, երգել  և  փոքրիկ բեմադրություն  են ներկայացրել:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ աշխատանքի և սոցիալական հարցերի նախարարության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնից,  նախարարը երեխաներին մաղթել է առողջություն և  վառ տպավորություններով լի օր.  «Այսօր  մանկատանն այս ջերմ և ուրախ  մթնոլորտն ապահովում են հենց ձեր ուրախ ժպիտները, մաղթում եմ, որ  այդ ժպիտները երբեք չիջնեն ձեր դեմքից»,-ասել է Արտեմ Ասատրյանը: 

Այնուհետև նախարարը շրջել է  մանկատան տարածքով, ծանոթացել   երեխաների խնամքի և կենցաղային պայմաններին,  տարբեր թերապիաների համար նախատեսված  սենյակներում զրուցել երեխաների հետ աշխատող մասնագետների հետ:  Մասնագետներից  նախարարը հատկապես հետաքրքրվել է երեխաների և ընտանիքի կապի ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ տարվող աշխատանքներից և հորդորել ամենայն պատասխանատվությամբ մոտենալ այդ խնդրին:

Նախարարն   ուրախությամբ ծանոթացել  է  նաև   մանկատան երեխաների ձեռքի  աշխատանքներին, նրանց տարբեր ստեղծագործություններին:

Լրագրողների հետ զրույցի ընթացքում Արտեմ Ասատրյանը  ներկայացրել է երեխաների պաշտպանության ոլորտում իրականացվող բարեփոխումները՝  նշելով, որ  դրանց հիմնական նպատակը շուրջօրյա  խնամքի հաստատությունների վերակազմակերպումն է երեխայի և ընտանիքի աջակցման կենտրոնների, որտեղ կմատուցվեն սոցիալ-վերականգնողական, հոգեբանական, մանկավարժական և այլ  սոցիալական ծառայություններ:  «Որքան մատչելի և հասանելի լինեն  այլընտրանքային ծառայությունները համայնքում, այնքան հեշտ կլինի հատուկ կարիք ունեցող երեխաներին ևս պահել ընտանիքներում, սա է  ՀՀ կառավարության որդեգրած քաղաքականությունն այսօր:  Պետք է արվի հնարավորը երեխայի՝ ընտանիքում ապրելու իրավունքի ապահովումն իրականացնելու համար»,-ընդգծել է նախարարը:
