 Թուրքիայի մեջլիսի հայ պատգամավորներ Գարո Փայլանը (Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցություն) և Սելինա Դողանը (Հանրապետական ժողովրդական կուսակցություն) հունիսի 1-ին Գումգափուի Սուրբ Մարիամ Աստվածածին եկեղեցում մասնակցել են պատրիարքական տեղապահ Գարեգին արքեպիսկոպոս Բեքչյանի պատվին մատուցված Հրաշափառի արարողությանը: Ինչպես հաղորդում է Արմենպրեսը, այս մասին հայ պատգամավորները գրառում են կատարել ֆեյսբուքյան իրենց էջերում:

«Տեղապահ Գարեգին արքեպիսկոպոս Բեքչյանն արդեն գործի է անցել: Մաղթում եմ, որ այս նոր ժամանակաշրջանը բարի լինի հայ համայնքի համար»,- նշել է Փայլանը:

Դողանը ևս արձանագրել է, որ մարտի 15-ին Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքարանի եկեղեցական ժողովի կողմից տեղապահ ընտրված Գարեգին արքեպիսկոպոս Բեքչյանը Սուրբ Մարիամ Աստվածածին եկեղեցում կազմակերպված արարողությամբ ստանձնեց իր պարտականությունները: «Գերմանիայի Քյոլն քաղաքից եկած Բեքչյանը կղեկավարի Պոլսո Հայոց պատրիարքի ընտրության գործընթացը: Մաղթում եմ, որ այդ գործընթացը մեր երկրին ու համայնքին խաղաղություն և հաշտեցում բերի»,- նշել է նա:

Գերմանիայի Հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Բեքչյանը մարտի 15-ին Պոլսո պատրիարքարանի հոգևոր խորհրդում ընտրվել էր պատրիարքական տեղապահի պաշտոնում: Նրա ընտրվելուց հետո, սակայն, Արամ արքեպիսկոպոս Աթեշյանը հրաժարվել էր թողնել պատրիարքական փոխանորդի պաշտոնը, ինչի հետևանքով պատրիարքարանում միառժամանակ լարվածություն էր սկսվել:
