Փոքրի՛կս, վերջերս մայրիկիդ հետ Google-ով ինչ-որ հարցի պատասխան էինք որոնում, և հարցը գրելիս երևացին ամենահաճախ որոնվող հարցերը, որոնց վերևում հայտնվեց «Ինչպե՞ս նրան հետաքրքրված պահել»։ Այս հարցը հիասթափեցրեց ինձ։ Ես արագ զննեցի անթիվ հոդվածներից մի քանիսն այն մասին, թե ինչպես միշտ ցանկալի լինել, երբ գարեջուր, իսկ երբ սենդվիչ տալ նրան ու թե ինչպես նրան ստիպել իրեն ավելի խելացի ու զիլ զգալ։
Եվ ես բարկացա։

Փոքրի՛կ, դու երբեք չես ունեցել, չունես ու չես ունենա «տղամարդուն հետաքրքրված պահելու» խնդիրը։

Քո միակ խնդիրը կլինի իմանալ, որ դու արժանի ես լավ մարդու սիրուն։ Այդ վստահությունը թաքցրու հոգուդ խորքում՝ այնտեղ, որտեղ այն չեն կարող կործանել մերժումները, կորուստները և էգոիզմը, որ մենք հաճախ հանդիպում ենք կյանքի ճանապարհին (եթե դու հիշես, որ ոչ միայն դու, այլև յուրաքանչյուր մարդ արժանի է հարգանքի ու սիրո, կյանքիդ մարտը կարող ես հաղթած համարել, սակայն դա արդեն այլ նամակի համար է)։

Եթե դու հավատաս, որ դու քեզնով արդեն իսկ թանկ ես, կգրավես այն տղայի ուշադրությունը, ով կկարողանա գնահատել քեզ և ով կցանկանա իր միակ կյանքն անցկացնել քեզ հետ ու ավելի ու ավելի կսիրահարվի քեզ։

Փոքրիկս, ես ուզում եմ պատմել քեզ այն տղայի մասին, ով կարիք չունի, որ դու հետաքրքրված պահես նրան, որովհետև նա գիտի, որ դու հետաքրքիր ես, և նա ինքն է ուզում քո կողքին լինել։

Ինձ համար միևնույն է՝ նա արմունկները սեղանին է դնում ընթրիքին, թե ոչ, քանի դեռ նա նայում է, թե ինչպես ես քիթիկդ կնճռոտում ժպտալիս ու չի կարողանում հայացքը կտրել։

Ինձ համար միևնույն է՝ նա գոլֆ խաղալ գիտի, թե ոչ, քանի դեռ նա կարող է խաղալ երեխաների հետ, որոնց դու կպարգևես նրան, ու մե՛կ հիացմունքով, մե՛կ էլ զայրույթով կնկատի, թե ինչպես են նրանք քեզ նման։

Ինձ համար միևնույն է՝ նա հետևում է իր դրամապանակին, թե ոչ, քանի դեռ նա հետևում է իր սրտին, ու այն միշտ իրեն քեզ մոտ է առաջնորդում։

Ինձ համար միևնույն է՝ ուժեղ է նա, թե ոչ, քանի դեռ նա հնարավորություն է տալիս օգտագործել այն ուժը, որ կա քո սրտում։

Ինձ համար միևնույն է, թե ում համար է նա քվեարկում, քանի դեռ ամեն առավոտ արթնանալով՝ նա կպատվի քեզ ձեր տանն ու կհարգի իր սրտում։

Ինձ համար միևնույն է, թե ինչ գույն ունի նրա մաշկը, քանի դեռ նա ձեր համատեղ կյանքի կտավը համբերատարության, միմյանց համար զոհաբերության, խոցելիության ու քնքշության ներկերով կներկի։

Ինձ չի հետաքրքրում, թե ինչ հավատքով են նրան դաստիարակել, կամ թե աթեիստների ընտանիքում է նա մեծացել, թե ոչ, քանի դեռ նա գիտի սրբության արժեքը և գիտի, որ կյանքի յուրաքանչյուր պահն ու քեզ հետ համատեղ կյանքի ամեն պահը մեծ սրբություն է։

Ի վերջո, փոքրի՛կս, եթե դու հանդիպես այդպիսի տղամարդու, և եթե նա ինձ հետ ոչ մի ընդհանուր բան չունենա, մենք, միևնույն է, կունենանք ամենակարևոր ընդհանուր բանը՝ Դու։

Որովհետև ի վերջո միակ բանը, որ պետք է անես նրան հետաքրքրված պահելու համար, դա սեփական եսդ լինելն է։
