ՀՀ ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արմեն Աշոտյանը հունիսի 13-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության ղեկավար, դեսպան Պյոտր Սվիտալսկիին: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԺ հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

Ողջունելով դեսպանին Ազգային ժողովում՝ Արմեն Աշոտյանն ընդգծել է, որ Եվրոպական միության հետ Հայաստանի հարաբերությունները եղել եւ մնում են Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության ամենակարեւոր վեկտորներից մեկը: Այս համատեքստում Արմեն Աշոտյանը հավաստիացրել է, որ Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության հետ ավանդական գործընկերային հարաբերությունները ոչ միայն կշարունակվեն, այլ նաեւ կներառեն համագործակցության առավել ընդգրկուն ոլորտներ:

Անդրադառնալով ՀՀ-ԵՄ հարաբերություններին՝ Արմեն Աշոտյանը հույս է հայտնել, որ Բրյուսելի գալիք գագաթաժողովում ՀՀ-ԵՄ նոր Համապարփակ համաձայնագրի ստորագրումը նոր հիմք կհանդիսանա երկկողմ հարաբերությունների ոլորտային առավել խոր զարգացման համար:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերը կարեւորել եւ մտքեր են փոխանակել խորհրդարանական կառավարման համակարգին անցնելու համատեքստում ՀՀ ԱԺ կարողությունների զարգացմանն ուղղված ծրագրերի շուրջ: Այս առումով զրուցակիցներն անդրադարձել են Հայաստանում ԵՄ պատվիրակության հետ համագործակցության հնարավոր ուղիներին:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերն անդրադարձել են նաեւ «ավելին ավելիի դիմաց» ՀՀ-ԵՄ քաղաքականության սկզբունքին, ինչի առնչությամբ Արմեն Աշոտյանը նշել է, որ այս համատեքստում Հայաստանը Եվրոպական միությունից ակնկալում է առավել ընդգծված քաղաքական աջակցություն՝ նաեւ արտաքին քաղաքական հարթությունում:

Հանձնաժողովի նախագահն իր խոսքում հույս է հայտնել, որ ՀՀ-ԵՄ նոր Համապարփակ համաձայնագրի ստորագրումից հետո հաջորդ բանակցային գործընթացն ուղղված կլինի վիզաների ազատականացման գործընթացին:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահը նաեւ իր մտահոգությունն է հայտնել Վրաստանում ադրբեջանցի ընդդիմադիր լրագրող եւ ակտիվիստ Աֆղան Մուխթարլըի առեւանգման կապակցությամբ: Հարցի առնչությամբ Արմեն Աշոտյանն ընդգծել է այն հանգամանքը, որ Ադրբեջանի՝ մարդու իրավունքների ոտնահարմանն ուղղված քաղաքականությունն արդեն իր պետության տարածքից դուրս, սպառնալիք է դառնում ողջ տարածաշրջանի համար: Այս համատեքստում Արմեն Աշոտյանը ողջունել է Եվրոպական միության եվրոպական արտաքին գործողությունների ծառայության տեսակետը եւ հույս հայտնել, որ եվրոպական կառույցները հետամուտ կլինեն հարցի թափանցիկ եւ անաչառ հետաքննմանը:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերն անդրադարձել են նաեւ Հայաստանում ԵԱՀԿ գրասենյակի փակման փաստին, ինչը ենթադրում է Եվրոպական միության առավել մեծ պատասխանատվություն մարդու իրավունքների եւ ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների ոլորտում տարվող աշխատանքներում:

Հանդիպման ավարտին կողմերն առավել գործուն եւ արդյունավետ համագործակցության պատրաստակամություն են հայտնել:
