 Արյան դոնորի համաշխարհային օրն ամբողջ աշխարհում նշում են հունիսի 14-ին: Հայաստանում կամավոր-անվարձահատույց դոնորների թիվը բավական ցածր է` 7-8 տոկոս: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում Ռ.Օ Յոլյանի անվան արյունաբանական կենտրոնի տնօրեն Սմբատ Դաղբաշյանն ասաց, որ հիմնականում որպես արյան դոնոր հանդես են գալիս հիվանդի հարազատները: «Կան նաեւ փոխհատուցվող դոնորներ, որոնց սննդի ծախսերն ու ճանապարհածախսը հոգում է արյունաբանական կենտրոնը»,-ասաց նա:

Դաղբաշյանի խոսքով` արյան համար խիստ կարեւոր է նրա անվտանգությունը, որովհետեւ արյան միջոցով կարելի է ինֆեկցիաներ տարածել: Այն ՀՀ-ում ստուգվում է լավագույն սարքավորումներով: «Արյունը հետազոտվում է ՄԻԱՎ-ի, հակամարմինների ու հակածինների, հեպատիտ B-ի, հեպատիտ C-ի, բրուցելյոզի, սիֆիլիսի նկատմամբ: Այստեղ կառավարությունը միջոցներ չի խնայում բարձր կարգի որակ ապահովելու համար»,-ասաց նա:

Արյունաբանական կենտրոնի տնօրենը վստահեցրեց, որ կենտրոնում եւ մարզային արյան կայաններում կուտակված են անհրաժեշտ արյան պաշարներ` արտակարգ իրավիճակներում փոխներարկումներ իրականացնելու համար: «Քանի որ ազգաբնակչության կեսի մոտ արյան խումբը երկրորդ դրական է, հետեւաբար ինչպես հիվանդները, այնպես էլ այդ կարգի արյուն հանձնող դոնորները շատ են: Ավելի քիչ հանդիպող արյան խմբերն են արյան երրորդ եւ չորրորդ բացասական խմբերը»,-հավելեց նա՝ տեղեկացնելով, որ 2016 թվականին 15 հազար արյունատվություն է իրականացվել:

Այս տարի հունիսի 14-ին, օրվա խորհրդով առաջին անգամ արյունատվության ակցիա կիրականացվի Ազգային ժողովում: Կամավոր-անվարձահատույց սկզբունքով արյուն կհանձնեն խորհրդարանի պատգամավորները:

2005թ. Ժնևում կայացած Առողջապահության համաշխարհային ասամբլեայի սեսիայում հունիսի 14-ը հաստատվեց որպես Արյան դոնորի համաշխարհային օր` ի պատիվ 1868թ. այդ օրը ծնված ավստրիացի բժիշկ Կարլ Լանդշտեյների, ով 1930թ.  Նոբելյան մրցանակի է արժանացել մարդու արյան խմբերի հայտնաբերման համար:
